Made a change order for 50p coins get a voicemail saying they dont have £1 coins. so when we show to collect the 50p order they say they have none and were rude. Also on another occassion they asked private questions about me and my bussiness because of a change order. Why does it matter if i want MY money in coins instead of notes. Natwest is a great bank but this branch is pretty poor.

Very dissapointed with the service at Natwest. Went there because I received a letter to visit. The lady behind the counter said she couldn't help even before reading and then skimmed it and misinterpreted. Waste of my time, very dissapointed. Made to feel unimportant and a hindrance. Terrible

Not a good experience. I wanted to make a payment to a company and the member of staff was so slow, he was timed out and we had to start again! He was so superior, but knew nothing.

Been banking at this branch for over 30 years. Terrible attitude behind counter. All I can say is they should shut down. Or re-train the inexperienced staff ! What a disgrace ! A very unhelpful place when paying in and doing withdrawals on a daily basis. Shame really

I can only guess is that Nat West are running this branch down to such a level that their customers will have given up altogether and either go online when they can, or travel great distances to the next open branch. Clearly closure of this branch is the objective of Nat West. Can there possibly be a reason for closing off all but two of the counters (and now of course, they say they can;'t operate more than one as the staff will be close to one another in this Covid world - had the other counter not been boarded up they could have had more than one sulky staff member manning the counter!) Waiting nearly half-an-hour is not how a company retains customer loyalty. Sadly this is too often my experience at this shadow of a branch.This used to be well-staffed and efficient branch. Now it is completely frustrating and all the staff are trained to do is offer saccharine phrases that never address the questions asked.Go on, NatWest, just close another branch and don't mess us about - you're clearly going to this anyway ...

I've been with Natwest romsey since 1992 and have never had any reason to complain. OK the queues are long but that's the same at any bank. There is a pay in slot for deposits so I don't understand the person that says there wasn't.

Didn't like it. Staff seems to treat U as someone inferior. Thought about swiching account from other bank, but resigned.

I don't think I have ever done a Google review before, but in light of the negative ratings I felt I should record my experience which has been very different. I have been in to this branch at least 3 times in the last couple of months in connection with my elderly father's account, always in my lunch break, and every time the service I have received has been most helpful, and much easier than trying to do things online or by phone banking.

Don't bother! Staff very unhelpful. It's a bank that doesn't like to count money, staff huffing and moaning because they had to!

This is the worst branch of NatWest I've EVER been in. Horrendous waiting times and no pay in machine!? Due to this I've opened up a nationwide account that does have a paying-in machine so I pay in there then transfer it across into NatWest. I'll shortly not be banking with them anymore! If I could not have left a star I would have not left one
