I was very disappointed with my local Waitrose today. We shop there 2 or 3 times a week. Today, we took in our plastic recycling that should be returned to supermarkets as we had seen a drop-off bin in the entrance. The recycle bin was full, so we asked where we could put it. The reply was delivered in a very rude manner as we were told it could be placed in the long stay car park as they just throw it away with regular rubbish when the bin is full. Once the lady had left, we were surprised to find another recycle bin on the opposite of the entrance. We put our recycling in there. As we went to do our shopping, we mulled over what was said and the tone it was delivered in. We decided that we no longer wanted to support Waitrose and left our shopping and went to Sainsburys.Waitrose, this is your loss and will remain so until you take your recycling seriously and have less rude staff!

I bought myself a prawn yakisoba from the Chinese counterpart. I was told they are lovely, I was shocked by the price of £10.35. I bought it. Wasn't worth the price. All veg with some noodles and 7 prawns. Will not be buying again.

When buying from Waitrose we usually do an online shop. However on this occasion we shopped at the Ringwood branch as we were staying in the New Forest. Waitrose may not be the cheapest supermarket but it is the most serene. The quality of their merchandise is good and the staff are helpful. If you ask a staff member where a certain product is the don't just point they take you to it. Ringwood was no exception. Only problem was late Saturday many items running short.

I had a nice shopping experience here, I really liked that the employees wore crowns (this was the day before the coronation of King Charles). Besides from the nice hats, there was one thing that I didn?t like, which was that the curly wurly five packs were 30 cents more expensive than the Sainsbury?s. This might seem harmless, but if you think in bulk this is catastrophic, if you buy 5000 curly wurly?s that?s 1500 pounds. Just think of the economical impact of this difference in price.

Free parking although it does get full at busy times. This is a nice store with the staff really friendly. Prices higher than other supermarkets but quality really good on the whole. Best supermarket in the town.

Really lovely service from the lady who worked in the wine section she took the time to explain all the different types of me and was so patient.

A bit higher priced than some Waitrose stores, and hard to find a spot in their free parking lot. But quality is as you'd expect.

Phoned about a return. They actually answered the phone and were very helpful and succinct in their reply. Problem solved

Big shop, bigger then most in Holland. Even simple things, like white beans in tomato sauce, olive oil and others they got huge choice of. Like the supermarket. Friendly personal service

Always an excellent selection of quality food and household items. Staff courteous and helpful. Makes the mundane shop far more bearable
