Handy town-centre shop for eye & hearing tests & products open for appointments seven days a week. Friendly staff & good service once you get seen but they have a habit of making you wait too long past your agreed appointment time due to, in my opinion, overbooking without regard for overruns or unexpected event.
The waiting areas downstairs and upstairs are comfortable but there's no free wifi which would be an obvious courtesy.

Have my.nhs hearing aids test at Spec savers and following that was given some hearing aids. Which are very good, also had my eye test there and 1 week later picked up my glasses.good service from start to finish

Specsavers Ringwood has changed their payments policy. They no longer take deposits or part payments for prescription glasses. I was very surprised to find this out today after my test and glasses fitting. I was called the day before to check my personal details and the staff member failed to inform me that i had to pay in full for my glasses if ordering a new pair. When I arrived at my appointment, I was not informed of this either. As much as the service is good, consumers should be informed and be given a choice to use another service provider that offers flexible payments. Many consumers cannot afford to pay hundreds of pounds upfront.

I was on the verge of giving up with my new prescription and if it hadn?t been for Tracey sorting it out I would?ve gone elsewhere.Tracey was so knowledgeable and helpful and understood what the problem was and thankfully sorted it without any fuss.
