Very helpful and just-right service - from reception when I arrived, to ordering my dinner (which I was so glad to be able to have in my room) to breakfast. It was very nice having table service and breakfast was just what I wanted (there was a good choice to choose from). I was mostly served by David who was very efficient and capable. All the staff I spoke to were nice.
The bed (mattress) was exceptionally good and I was able to sleep very well - it was quiet and also the right temperature as I was to have my window open.
The carpark was very convenient for my hotel room.

This was our first visit to Dorsett and we hit the jackpot with staying here at The Original White Hart. Everything was just great from checking in staff (David) was very accommodating and helpful, the room and bed was very comfortable and we both had a wonderful nights sleep.
The breakfast was really very good and such great value for money.
We are already looking forward to our next visit as the Hotel is in the middle of the Town and so much to see.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it felt welcoming and comfortable. The staff were super helpful, especially the management team who made sure everything went smoothly. Service was great from start to finish. Definitely a place I?d recommend!

The Original White Hart is a very old coaching inn We stayed overnight and parked the car for free, as guests, in the spacious car park at the back. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. We probably didn?t have the best room in hotel as we had booked late. It?s a very old building , so the sloping floor and lack of light can be forgiven. We found the staff to be very attentive, friendly and welcoming. We had a pint in the pub before going out to meet friends. There was a pleasant atmosphere and we felt relaxed. The pub is bright and airy and appears newly decorated but in keeping with its age. Breakfast was extra to the overnight stay but was reasonably priced. I had the continental breakfast and my partner had the full English which were served at the table. All in all a very good experience.

We decided to revisit with 2 friends. Unfortunately there were a lot of 'not available' options so that threw us for choices. We were dining early. The place was busy, which is good. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

Lovely service, great food. Had a philly steak, bread was a bit dry but everything else fantastic, chips perfect crips. Salad very unique and taste aswell. Not your typical tomato with lettuce type of stuff

Absolutely lovely pub with a friendly team and something for everyone. Whether you want to enjoy a light lunch, a cosy drink, or a game of darts and pool this pub has it all. I am looking forward to enjoying an overnight stay here very soon.
