Unbelievably hilarious customer service !!
I just bought a bike with price of £160, but today I found the price dropped to £128, I spoke to customer service on the phone, also chatted with customer service agent on the online chat, both confirmed that I had the right to get the price difference, I only needed to go to Argos shop to get this refunded.
I then went to Argos Ringwood shop at 24 Meeting House Ln, Ringwood BH24 1EY explained the case but the man in the counter told me I had to bring the bike to him! I said to him the bike is assembled already, and I also spoke to the customer service on the phone and online chat, both occasions no one told me I need to bring the assembled bike to the shop! I also tried to show him the online chat record, he simply did not bother, just insisted on ?you have to bring the bike here? to prove you have bought it!? What a non-sense! He can check the record from his computer, why I need to bring the bike to him? What if I bought a fridge-freezer? should I bring it back as well? Is that Argos policy or his policy? Was he just making things difficult?!
I told him what the customer service on the phone and the online chat agent told me that no need to bring the bike to the store, but he simply said ?They can say whatever they wanted, but I won?t listen to that, you need to bring the bike here, otherwise you may go to other shops to get the price difference again!? ----this is so ridiculous! How could Argos?s customer service counter say this to a customer in such a nasty way? How could a customer go to different store to get price difference just because they don?t bring the bike? Argos system is right there to check if the customer claimed the price difference already, once claimed they won?t be able to claim again, how could that counter man said this to a customer?! This is disrespectful and insult!
I have all the right to get the price difference! But I don?t deserve to be treated like a cheater!
So disgusting! Argos need to train your staff to behave and respect, not treat customers like thief!

Update 10th Sept: Argos Ringwood have now corrected their opening times. Well done! ?
This Argos store does NOT open at 8am as stated here. It actually opens at 9am. This ?little? error has caused me no end of inconvenience this morning. Thanks ?!

I went in on a Sunday looking for a mobile WiFi so I could watch the football! John was amazing. They have limited stack and many items are for deliver next day, but when I explained to John my predicament he was really helpful and identified 2 stock items and explained how to set it up and away I went to successfully watch the game. I would strongly advise Argos to promote that they can ?solve? camping and Caravaners WiFi challenges in this region by providing tpMiFi unit and Vodafone pay as u go sim! ???? thanks John

Order on line paid for item , went to collect in store not been delivered so I chose a different day to collect still not in so I call them and they said we have to re order so I had to wait for Monday to collect, terrible service! No email to say your item is ready to collect at store!!!!

Very un helpful staff WHICH WAS ON DUTY AT 2 PM today. Was bought a present by my mum and they would not let me collect because I didn?t physically have the card. Previously been and had no problem even when the the products was over £300. Showed all the messages from my mum but was not interested. Told me to have it delivered to the door??. How does that work I still will not have the card. VERY UN SATISFIED

Won?t be using this store again. The staff were friendly and helpful until the manager took over. The Manager is rude and is quick to refuse returns and will not listen to the customer ( who was completely right), it takes a formal complaint and going to head office before she changes her mind.Setting a very bad example to her colleagues and should not be in charge of training

I don't understand any of the negative reviews. They are really polite, fast and nice. Have picked up a package there and bought a music box. I was satisfied with both and reall liked the way of how Argos is integrated. I hope you can get better reviews so that this misleading rating can get corrected! ?
