This place has a rating of 5 for health and hygiene. It's a disgusting, filthy hole. We pre-oredered 3 T Bone steaks, so upon arrival, we wouldn't be disappointed. As we entered the restaurant, there was no one to meet and greet, and after a few minutes we were shown to a table that was not only facing a wall, but also was not set properly for dinner.
They then informed us there was no steak apart from a sirloin, which he then chose to bring out to show us. It was still frozen and in an either aldi or lidl wrapper which he'd tried to hide. We then heard them defrosting it in the microwave.
The male in the group decided to use the bathroom. Upon entry, it smelt of urine and the hand towel was dirty. Leaving the bathroom he saw into the kitchen. He then cancelled all the food and we left.

Not sure if it was because it was late and they whipped up something cause they had ran out but the curry itself was absoultely dreadful. No flavour to it atall other than being horrifically sweet. Looking at the pictures online other people's curries from this place didn't look the same as ours, so I assume they messed this one up. Absoultely inedible do not go here

Called in before going to the ferry. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Will be coming back again.

Ordered delivery, the garlic chili massala is so sweet its like jam. The sides were nice but the main curry was disgusting, heavy food colouring and tasted like blended carrot with mild chilli powder. Absolutely disgusting

Worst restaurant in Portsmouth.Gravy is pathetic masalas not cooked, Poori served in a plastic wrap which is just like a wet tissue.Customer service is at its peak, the person who is in the counter never notice us, we have to keep on calling him.We tried Garlic Naan, Poori, paratha, some madras gravy everything is worst.Finally asked for Raita here comes the interesting part, they served a spoon of yoghurt in a bowl and asked about the onions they chopped free of the onions and topped up even without mixing.The only good thing is the entire restaurant was empty.Never ever give a try ?

Ordered a takeaway on 29/03/2024.Food was on point - good to see duck on the menu.Easy to order the takeaway - also good to see the delivery driver turn up when they were supposed to! Not always a common occurrence, sadly.

We walked in to a staff member on their phone. Took them a couple of minutes to notice us. No-one in the restaurant. We finally sat down and ordered the two person set meal and two drinks. Drinks didn?t come out until we finished the starter. Again no-one in the restaurant. Starter was tasteless, I personally didn?t mind it, was chewy though. Main course came out, tasted like a microwave curry from Tesco. Naans were chewy. Garlic naan had the slightest hint of garlic. Ice cream was a small portion. And my girlfriend had a coffee which had lumpy milk/cream, we don?t even know which. Looks like everything was just microwaved. Staff members weren?t very welcoming some just staring at us, not in a friendly way. Poppadoms were the best thing. All in all, pricey for what it is, most likely not going back.

Ordered a takeaway from here, there were problems with delievery due to the bad traffic. Food was still hot and had a very good customer service experience from the restraunt and delievery driver.
