I recently visited Specsavers and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The entire process from booking my appointment to the eye test, choosing frames, contact lens fitting, and even updating one of my appointment dates was seamless and stress-free.
The staff were exceptional: knowledgeable, polite, helpful, and genuinely kind. Every step was explained clearly, and I felt well taken care of throughout. It?s rare to find such consistent, high-quality service across all stages of a visit.
Thank you, Specsavers, for making the whole experience so smooth and enjoyable. I?ll definitely be recommending you to friends and family!

The whole team at Specsavers were great. I recently had surgery on my nose and sinuses. Wearing my glasses at work gave me a migraine every day for over a week. After the first call, my lenses were in stock 3 days later and 2 days after that I had my initial fitting. I returned for my review yesterday and I?m over the moon with the results. I feel back to my normal self and it?s helping the recovery from my surgery too. Thanks to everyone, especially Claire, Anderson and Jessica.

Provided with faulty glasses which keep popping out the frame, have been going to a local specsavers for the last year who kept putting them back in until eventually they advised me to go back to the Portsmouth store as that's where I got them from to get it sorted as clearly an issue. Blonde young girl with glasses was unhelpful and blamed my prescription despite having a low one, and I wasn't advised when I got them they needed to be shaved down. She said it was outside of 100 day guarantee, of which I wasn't told was even a thing when I got them, and I had a newborn baby at the time. She said there's nothing they can do, despite the other shop saying different. She kept insinuating I wanted new frames, which isn't the case as I like my frames, but they're faulty. Kept me waiting for ages to tell me nothing they can do, I normally get my glasses from Boots and will be going back there for my next pair.

After my eye test, I was told to have a look at the frames while waiting for someone to be assigned to me for further assistance. I had to check with the reception 45 minutes later, if they were aware I was still waiting to be assisted. Apart from that, everything else was highly professional.

If I could give no stars I would .. very unprofessional and for the optician called Anderson to yawn whilst testing my eyes and no apology and pressurise I to having lenses I didn't need stood firm and they didn't take to kindly all I wanted amd as for waiting 2 weeks fir them to arrive when other opticians take 4 days it's not on
