Just a quick shout out for the delivery drivers at Selco , Portsmouth. Yesterdays driver to our sailing club , like his colleagues who have delivered before, was extremely helpful and polite. You're a good team lads, thank you.

27/02/25 - First time I've used this place today, traffic was very heavy so thought I'd see if it was any good for the general public and was surprised to find it was. Not only that, but was able to walk around and look at products on the shelves, and whilst not the biggest selection of things I feel I will be going there more often. As a Trade place prices are marked without VAT, so be aware of that, but otherwise a fairly good selection of building materials, kitchen taps, window locks and handles, wood products, plastic sheets, tools, worktops, kitchen cupboards, was surprised also by the prices, compared to a very popular DIY store, Selco was very competitive on their prices. This branch has good parking, the staff were friendly and helpful, polite also, and apart from the store and carpark being a little dusty and needing a spruce around with a broom and a bin bag, it was a nice visit and I will be looking at their website with a view to returning there in the near future...

Update: Went there today, everyone seems to be behind the counter talking. Couldnt find half the items in the isle, no one around the area to speak to just left my trolley and went home. Don't want to shop there again, manager need to pull their finger out and get this to be more customer helpful.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
However there only seems to be one person behind the till and it's frustrating when there is a big queue. The other staff are just chatting. A number of us walked out due to frustration.

Exceptional young man came with my delivery today, he couldn't have been more helpful. The lad should get a pay rise, helped willingly and without complaint . Absolutely fantastic and I can't thank him enough. Selco Portsmouth.
