Emma at Horndean Red Lion was amazing!
We visited this evening with my elderly grandparents. They made sure we were comfy and supported us with different chair for comfort. Absolutely amazing food and amazing service.

Red lion Horndean. What can I say our server was called Matthew he was very good helpful with the grandchildren getting them drawing and crayons getting a highchair he was very smiley and chatting with us all. The roast I would highly recommend very tasty and lots of it and very good value for money.we will definitely be coming back.

Great service, food was served hot and cooked well was better than more expensive places and no real wait for starter or main meal either and everything was served perfectly.
Parking: Depends on time you visit depends on how busy it is really

Went for Sunday lunch, had to ask more than once how long food would be after waiting more than an hour to be told it hadn?t been started yet. Multiple mistakes with the food and told the chef ?didn?t want to make the gravy? for one of them???
The lack of communication on waiting times and the average food meant we won?t be coming back any time soon.
We weren?t the only people upset, we saw multiple people having same complaint.

Went for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Chose the Red Lion for its good service,lovely food and nice atmosphere. Our server Sam was nice,friendly,polite and made us feel welcome.
