Busy pub but shows they doing something right !Food & drinks: Used this pub many times over the last 30+ years and must say this is the best I?ve ever known it ! Food was lovey very tasty and amazing value ! Will definitely make it a regular for a night out ! Doing a fantastic job in difficult times well done Red lion !

Staff were polite and friendly, hotel was very clean and comfortable, price very good, food was very good & value for money.Rooms: Clean, comfortable and modern.Safety: The use of a fob for access out of hrs felt very safe and being talked through fire safety was also good.Food & drinks: Steak dinner with a bottle of 19 Crimes wine was delicious and value for money.

What was great... 1) The staff, all of them from bar keeping to housekeeping. 2) The food. The breakfasts were to die for and I have recommended you to several local friends, 3) The insulation, the room was blissfully quiet even though the bar was jumping. What can you improve..? Sorry I find that a hard question to answer. I just know want to book with you again if I am ever back in the area and need a hotel. Or breakfast...!!!Rooms: Quiet, clean and everything you need in a hotel room.Walkability: Cosham was on the doorstep so everything there. And easy access via bus to Portsmouth city centre.Food & drinks: I've eaten breakfast at quite a few hotels in my life and can put this up amongst the best

Food & drinks: Only drank non alcoholic drinks which were cheaper than I thought, the food I'd give it 9/10, but that's only because there could of been slightly bigger portions.

Good economy stop over top of cosham high street, perfect for the Queen Alexandra hospital, less than 10minute walk . Comfortable rooms, surprisingly quiet for location and decent pub food.

Location, staff & atmosphere all great. Tried to book but told don't bother as usually quiet (by staff)but arrived to a busy pub & had to wait over hour for food. Other than that, all good.
