My account was blocked due to a misunderstanding which I had relayed to them and they took this into account yet nothing has been done and I?ve been asked to just ?sit and wait? as if I can afford to do that. I am just a uni student and I will soon start to run out of resources and of course I need to pay my rent soon. It?s been two weeks already and this still hasn?t been sorted HSBC (in general) you need to do better. I know for a fact once this issue?s been dealt with I?m switching banks immediately because this is actually ridiculous. I?ve been told and two occasions already that my bank account would be ?unblocked by the end of the week? yet I?m still here unable to access my account, stressed and slowly running out of supplies. And unfortunately aside from the fraud team there is no higher team I can speak to that would be any more helpful it?s honestly just so frustrating.

Personally when I've gone in for help the staff have been friendly and helpful.

Called in on Monday morning with a query regarding the purchase of some premium bonds. online system kept saying that 'One Time Pass code' was 'authentication rejected'. Bank assistant was able to successfully input required information for us. At home, online application was now successful. Worked a treat, Many, Many thanks for your help.

Always had great experience with Portsmouth HSBC. Some staff could be more helpful but in all i can't complain. Been to branch today to reorder and card and the lady was super helpful and apologetic about the wait while she sorted it.

been on the phone for 3 hours and 31 minutes trying to sort out a dispute. I went into the bank to try and sort this out and was told to go away and phone customer service. this is one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The branch staff are poorly trained and incredibly rude, especially Steve and the girl that I forgot to take her name down at the front desk. They did not seem to care much about helping their customers, I wish I have not bothered to visit the brach for help today.

Went to sort my card out was told they can't do anything about it. Then went to pay some money off a loan was told I couldn't do it at the bank they said if they do pay the money and it doesn't come off the loan they won't be able to get the money back. After being there 40mins I then went home rung the bank and made the payment over the phone the woman on the phone then said,, sir you could have done all this at your local branch. (Useless)

Was putting some money in my account machine counted 10£ less, all the notes was 20£ but one note it's sow as 10£. No idea how it possible. Nothing was done about it.
