Never enough staff available so usually a long wait. It doesn't help that they've closed other branches in the area, so more customers come here.

Excellent service. Went in to open a couple of savings accounts for my son which I?d been unable to achieve online. Sam was really helpful and patient, problem solved in no time. Thanks.

Went into the commercial road branch today. Asked a lady about insurance with the branch. First thing she said was do you bank with us. Not how may I help you. She passed me over to Lee who put me through to the wrong department on the phone. Walked off and left me to deal with another customer. So I left. I did complain upon leaving to someone sitting doing nothing and he just said you where on the phone so Lee dealt with another customer. Disgusting customer service in this branch. No wonder it?s emptage.

not helpful at all. customer for 15 years +. Asked them to provide a reference letter.. all they did was say "you're the first person to ask for this and i've been working here for 16 years so there ya go..". Amazing customer service. thanks folks

It's a bank... you go there for financial transactions, drop your money in and take it out. I've had Halifax take care of my financial matters for some 40plus years now. The staff are competent and pleasant and patient. All are truly good at what they do.Four stars because I expect excellent, and I get excellent :) so if you have banking to do, do it here. My only criticism? A bit fast to direct to machines, I prefer to deal with people. But I guess that's the modern way, and of course the covid 19 issues too.Anyway, great job, guys :)
