They got the car in at short notice, the boot lid had seized on a 3 series, Jack sorted the issue and i also managed to get an MOT at very short notice, couldn't fault the plaice.

Quoted me £580 for some simple repairs.Setyres Portsmouth did it for £200 around the corner.The large gentleman at the desk was more bothered about answering the phone and chatting away rather than addressing the customer Infront of him.Due to both price and service I won?t be returning.

Awful customer service from a member of staff. He refused to tell me his name. He's a bit overweight guy, middle age, short hair, glasses, and I think he had a bit of an accent from the north of UK.I booked online, and when I attended the appointment he told me he couldn't take my car as the system gave me appointment available by mistake. He said he tried to contact me by phone but this one wasn't updated in my customer account. When I asked him why he didn't send me an email instead, he replied me very rude that he shouldn't have to send emails, that it was my fault the phone number wasn't right, and he asked me to leave, "and take my car somewhere else". When I challenged his attitude he kept replying rude and continuously asking me to leave, no apology or at least offer me to book for another day. Five minutes after I left the office I received a booking cancellation email from Halfords. He could've done that instead of making me waste my time. Why did he not cancel the appointment before then? Why did he do it five minutes after I left the office?After this experience I very much doubt I'll put my car in hands of a member of staff in Halfords. That company will highly benefit if they don't have this guy attending their clients, as I very much doubt I'm the first client he's treating with such disrespect. A colleague entered the reception and sat at the desk next to him, he didn't flinch at all at the exchange of rude replies this guy was giving me, as if he's totally used to this attitude.Halfods, please, choose better staff members!!Service: Brake service & repair

I take my car in here for an M.O.T every year, mainly because its 2 doors down from where I work.All the guys in there are amazing however, Jason delivers the best customer service I have ever received in my life - each and every time. Not only does he fully explain in MY TERMS what's going on with my car, so that I understand it but he also has a fantastic sense of humour.Jason - you are an absolute credit to Halfords. Thank you for all the laughs and looking after the car. Hero.

These guys were so so helpful when I popped in to get my air con fixed. My 5 month old baby in tow and 30 degree heat outside, they had a full garage and a busy day but seeing I was desperate and couldn?t drive my baby more than 10 minutes at a time in the heat, they pulled out all the stops, started then and there and had it fixed in an hour! Stunning service, I really really appreciated the help!!!

Painless experience. MoT and service done very quickly. Advisories were as expected and no attempt was made to pressurise me for work on those advisories. Car was an EV. Very surprised that only a few Halfords Autocentres have qualified staff for EVs. £200 for full service and MoT is very good value.
