Golden Hind is how I remember it after all the time spent in there over past few years. Pub is still quite tidy and had a good visit there this time. Good alternative pub to others in the area.Only had a drink there on this occasion.

Went to the Golden Hind with a friend for a meal. We both had Hunter's Chicken and it was really lovely. The service was very good as well.

I organised a lunch for blind and partially sighted people and friends at the Golden Hind on 2nd September for 17 people. We all had a great time. The food was hot and delicious and the service was excellent. Our server was Tom who went out of his way to make sure everyone had what they had ordered and anything else they needed.
We look forward to our next lunch with you. Thank you.

Kudos to the two staff that were running things while we were there, they managed to keep on top of things constantly and were very attentive. Especially one who always seemed to find something to do and was aware of everything going on - unfortunately didn't get a name but thanks for the great service!
The food was standard pub food, not amazing but nice enough, and no real problems to pick on. Good value for money.
This was for a friend's birthday and not a location we would normally have travelled to but I guess it would qualify as a hidden gem as it isn't what you would expect from the location it is in.

Wonderful service. Ordered food and arrived very quickly. Servers are kind, and very friendly. During my visit, I was served by a lovely waitress, Denisa, Who was extremely helpful throughout my time there. Would come again.

We had a small gathering for a wake, the food was lovely although they overdid the horseradish sauce on beautiful roast beef sandwiches, reasonably priced and we didn't have to pay extra for an exclusive area
