This place is great such good value, shame about the customers, use regularly, some of the customers are horrible, openly stealing, shouting, swearing. Staff have to put up with it all, so top marks to them.

Great prices and unbelievable amount of choices

Farmfoods used to belong to the lower end of the food retail industry. Nowadays that is not my opinion The Portsmouth store is light airy and well laid out. Discounts for spending £60 or more range from £6 -£9. Purchasing 3 or more items is rife for discounts _ but, you'll find no rubbish here. Chicken breasts (frozen) are unadulterated by water unlike many supermarkets. A pleasant shop with many named brands at bargain prices.

Large store. Not sure of the layout. A little confusing. Freezers everywhere but no easy shopping order. Plenty of multi buys but don't get confused. Advertised pg tips 240 bags 4 sealed in plastic. Offer states £4.99 or ANY 2 for £ 9. Bargain I thought. I spoke to someone who worked there to confirm the any 2 infer. She stated it must be on an offer which has the poster ANY 2. I said I didn't need that many tea bags and picked up 1 sealed pack. Got to checkout and paid £18. For the tea bags. So it's £4.99 a box and not a sealed unit. As I drink so much tea I couldn't be bothered to argue it and paid. I'm sure Iceland or asda charge 4.50 for 360 bags. These bags are 240 @£4.99. U feel a little ripped off. Probably won't be going there again. It's not a shop I usually visit. But was shopping near buy and thought to see what offers are about.

Nice size store easy to get round found some great items and deals probably a better shop for large families with large capacity freezers as a lot of the offers are bulk buy but being a single guy with small freezer and limited funds I could only get a few items but whether you are a large all small family it's worth taking a look .

This is the first time I have used Farmfoods, it started off badly as I didn't have a coin or token for the trolley, so I could only do a shop with a basket, meaning I was limited to what I could buy. Only one checkout open had to wait a while behind people with trolleys. There was plenty of staff around stacking shelfs, but nobody did anything about it. After about 6 minutes, a second checkout was opened. The store seems to have a lot to offer, but I'm not sure if I would go back again as poorly managed.

Staff are fantastic here. The shelves are always neat and bursting with products you don't often see elsewhere. They have a ton of those extra large products with savings that you get at wholesalers such massive boxes of Ariel Wasing powder.

Love the chicken I buy here. £10 pounds for 3 bags of well spiced chickens.
