“We been treated very well in Boots Portsmouth UK (commercial road), very courtesy, the optician and a doctor done a great job as well as given us very good advice, in fact, on 3rd Nov 2023, my wife ‘s eye feeling so bad and visited Boots’ Optician, then after checked by the in-house’ doctor, we been told that my wife’s eye got a Cornel Ulcer on the Cornea which needed an urgent care! Immediately, she (the doctor ) proceeded sending a referral letter to Queen Alexandra Hospital, and help us to make an urgent appointment in hospital, he (another staff) in Boots gave us the address of the hospital right the way, and printed out to us the related report from the doctor, for our reference!A call called us on the morning of 4th Nov, and confirmed that Boots has sent the referral letter to Queen Alexandra Hospital directly, that they already make an appointment for us, so we just go and tell our name which we will be arranged to see the doctor!So we went & be checked & got medicated at QA on 4th Nov afternoon, and it will be following up again on the 8th Nov at QA too! I am autistic and very sensitive to the sun lights. They remembered me from last year even which medication I am on and it is a busy shop in a busy area. “I didn't know the pharmacy and advice area was closed for lunch for 45 mins so there was a wait of 30 mins but the staff when back on duty were very helpful. The pharmacy was short on a few things which you don't expect with Boots. My rating is closer to 3 1/2 based on my experience on the day.”
