the chips used to be really nice...but now they are dry,horrible and to be avoided at all costs.thats a real shame because although a bit pricey now,the rest of the food i think is nice.

Strong contender for worst Chinese in Portsmouth. Went There and got a meal for one with chips and I barely ate any of it because the food was bland and absolutely tasteless. Like others have mentioned already, the chips have absolutely no flavour and are dry/tasteless with no seasoning whatsoever. The other food was very bland and watery. Avoid this place as there are much better, Chinese/chippys in Portsmouth!

Used to love copnor takeaway, I don't know what has happened? Chips r like oven chips they r defo not chippy chips and u only get a small handful. My cod was predominantly batter with very little actual fish. The battery was crispy on the outside but dripping yellow oil in the middle. The battered sausage was greasy and the fishcakes soggy. End of an era, we will not be ordering from here again. So disappointing

I ordered large cod and chips plus a Chinese plus pea fritter and chips curry sauce x3 there was no fish in the batter was rock hard everyone said oil tasted burnt which it was cooked in I order as a regular what a disaster I will never order from them again I can't believe they tried to deliver the food plus charged

Took over two hours to arrive and after multiple calls to the restaurant they used an excuse of they have a new driver..Cor bless him him took 2 hours to get from copnor to southsea. Let?s get started on the food, the omelette was a dark yellow and actually hard, my dead dad has a better complex and consistency than that omelette also the salt and pepper chicken wasn?t fresh or Crispy, my jaw was swinging like I been on the session for days from eating this..the passable thing was the chips and the best thing was the bottle of coke to wash the terrible taste out my mouth?highly recommend if you want to feed the bin
