My Heartfelt Experience Today ? Feeling Hurt and Humiliated
Today, I had one of the most upsetting experiences I've ever had at your store. I came in simply to return a parcel for Temu. While there, I noticed a parcel wrap cover near the QR code scanning machine. We picked up one of them, and inside the package, there were supposed to be three pieces. However, the cover was already partially opened, and we found only two pieces inside.
When I mentioned this to the cashier, she kindly offered to help us wrap the parcel without using that cover. We agreed, she helped us with the parcel, and I returned the wrap cover to where it originally was. We then left the store.
A little later, we came back in because we remembered we needed to buy a few other things. While browsing, one of the staff approached us and asked about the wrap cover and the missing piece. We explained that we hadn?t used it and that it already had only two pieces when we first picked it up. She said okay and walked away.
But soon, another staff member came over and began accusing us. She insisted that we had opened the package and told us we had to pay for it. We tried to explain again ? calmly ? that it was already partially opened when we picked it up and that we hadn?t taken or used anything. I even said I was willing to pay for it if I could receive all three pieces. But she refused. Her behavior was aggressive and accusatory, treating us as if we had stolen something.
I asked if she could check the CCTV footage to prove our innocence. She claimed they had already checked, but when I requested to see the footage myself, she flatly refused.
In that moment, in front of other customers, I was treated like a thief. I felt completely humiliated, mentally distressed, and emotionally shattered. The way she looked at me and spoke to me?with impatience and suspicion?was more than I could bear. I felt guilty for something I didn?t do, just because I was left with no choice but to pay for the item to end the conflict.
This was my first time experiencing something like this, and I?ve never felt so embarrassed in public. I tried to explain myself, but no one listened. Instead of being treated with respect and understanding, I was made to feel small and ashamed.
I?m sharing this because my heart is heavy and my mind deeply upset. I never expected to be treated this way over something so small, especially when I was honest and willing to cooperate. Please understand the emotional impact of such experiences. It wasn?t just about money?it was about dignity.

Went in today to say 2 bottles of milk which I purchased wed 28th had separated when boiling,,,,,the answer I got from the manager was oh OK.
I go in the shop nearly every day and the staff used to be excellent.

Good store, clean and helpful staff. Only looses a point as it always seams to be closed between 19:30 and 20:00 for delivers everyday!? Wouldn't bother going if you plan to arrive during this time.

Staff are friendly and helpful, however the store has a habit of running low on stock in the later hours of the day so if you need shopping, groceries or munchies I would recommend you get there before 8 or so.

Handy store and products are fine but some staff stink of cigarette smoke when you get served which is gross.
