Went yesterday. 3 vegan burgers were slimey. Didn't complain as meat eaters food was ok.Today 3 lots of upset stomach. Have rang to complain, left a message.

Loved our stay, and having called into the brewers fayre several times, we have to say that Des is a real credit to the place. Lovely to see someone who enjoys there job. Great at what he does and nothing was too much for him.

Brilliant front of house staff, des and the lady manager were so kind and a lovely laugh! They couldn't do enough for us and engaged with the children. However the food was stone cold, I asked for extra cheese and bacon on my cheeseburger and I got vegan cheese and vegan bacon. Another issue was sauces being served in a help yourself open dish which I did not like but only a minor issue. Food was sorted quickly and like I said front of house dealt extremely well with what seemed like a extremely difficult freuqent issue with the kitchen as several tables around us had the same issue. Would still come back as lovely little venue and great front of house staffKid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly with a good sized kids soft play. Staff also engaged really well with the kids.

9 of us went here for our Christmas dinner. I must say there were no frills but over all for the price we paid it was very good. It would have been nice to have had some live entertainment e.g. music duo/pianist/singer playing some background music. They seemed a bit short staff because everyone was running around trying their best to serve a lot of people! For me, I think a little bit more attention should be given to what the front of house service staff are wearing. Most of the time it was difficult to tell the difference between who were the customers and who were the staff? This was due to the staff wearing what looked like their own personal clothes instead of a recognisable shirt or uniform. The barman looked like he?d just finished emptying the dustbins? Plus when he gave us our wine glasses, using one hand his fingers were both inside and outside the 4 glasses leaving his finger prints inside and outside of the glasses ? Obviously no basic training has been given to the majority of the staff working there which is a shame. Apart from the aforementioned, the overall experience was very nice, but with room for improvement.Parking: The parking outside is easy and very accessible.

Haven?t been in while but glad we chose to go here! Lovely atmosphere with good choice of delicious food, and Des the lovely staff member that served me was so friendly and polite! Thank you.

Booked a table with some university friends for a Christmas meal. We booked successfully with confirmation about two weeks prior the meal and we were all excited. On the day of the meal they cancel on us last minute with no explanation and would not let us rebook. I realise Christmas is a busy time but to let us down with such short notice is bad. Very disappointed, I'll not visit here again.

My partner and i walked in to this Brewers Fayre and instantly greeted by the lovely staff. Des particularly stood out with his lovely smile and welcoming manner. Great food, great service and beautifully decorated for the festive seasonTHANKS DES!!! ?

I'm not entirely sure where to start with this review. I have never been in a restaurant where I waited close to 2 hours for food, only for it to come to the table and be cold, the wrong order and mouldy avocado.The waiting staff and staff behind the bar took the brunt of the complaints with no manager to be seen despite asking to see them.Worst experience. Definitely won't recommend nor will I return.Very poor on your part Brewers Fayre.

I had a wonderful meal with my boyfriend last week, such a lovely experience and Dez made us feel so warm and welcome.It makes a great difference when someone truly knows how to deliver impeccable service with a laugh and a joke.We will be back!!

Went for breakfast Wednesday morning and it was beautiful! Special shout out to Sean for those eggs! They were cooked perfectly. Thank you to the manager Pat and the lovely waitress Lynn for being so accommodating!Will definitely be back for more!!

Disappointed to only be able to give the experience 3 stars. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty we (table of 2) were stuck away in the corner away from most people so very little atmosphere. Had to wait for a long time at the bar to place our food order - there should really be dedicated food ordering points or table service would be even better.Food was ok nothing to write home about, prawn cocktail starter as disappointing - hadnt had one for a long time and was looking forward to it. It was bland and quantity wasnt good, the other starter Garlic bread with cheese was very small.Didnt have cod, only did haddock and chips - the batter was a bit too soggy for me.The bit that really annoyed me was the soft drink policy - ordered drinks with our food asked what sort of Coke we would like - not advised of any differences when ordering.When back at the table reading the separate drinks menu it said that there were unlimited refills available. When our glasses were empty checked with our server to see if we could refill and told that we couldnt even though our soft drinks cost more than then refillable drinks. Explain that we were not offered the option at the bar but she wasnt interested saying that only sugar free drinks were included - we were happy to refill with sugar free drinks. Reading the drinks menu again after being advised to by the server in small print it says about sugar free drinks - we should have been advised when ordering and should be clearer in the menuNot good practice customers should be made aware of the difference when ordering - servers attitude wasnt great not interested in helping the customer.

Booked a table online. This was at 7:30pm. Arrived a little early and was taken to our seat, place was empty, kids decided what they wanted to eat then run off to play in the kids area.We decided what we wanted to eat and then headed to the bar to order, ordered everything to only be told there was over an hour wait for food, there was barley anybody in there, five tables had people sat at them at most.I asked why the long wait was, and they said short staffed, but the staff I did see were quite happy mucking and playing around behind the counter, not actually doing anything work related at all. We didn't stay and moved on to somewhere else.I'm really disappointed as we have been here a few times, the kids love the play area and the food is usually good.

Employees needs some customer service training, food ok. Price very good, small free parking at the back .
