staff too busy arguing amongst themselves rather than sort out customers purchases. waited 20 minutes for my items to come down and then they sat on the shelf for another 10 minutes before being called up to collect. it was not busy when we went in either so there is no excuse for the slow service.

Never had any problems with Argos Portsmouth until today. My 1 star rating goes ONLY to the lady who answered my call and was rude when I asked if I can return a product. She asked me what is the reason for the product return? I replied that it doesn't satisfy my expectations. Her following questions were if the item is faulty and/or if the item was taken out of it's original package and used? I replied that the item is not faulty and yes, the item has been taken out of the original packaging and only used once (how else should I know if it works or not?!?). She said that because I opened the package and used the product, it can't be returned anymore, only unopened/unboxed items can be returned. Her answer blew my mind because I've returned items in the past at Argos and never have I been declined because of opening the package or trying the item to check if it works. She said that there's no chance I will manage to return the item unless is faulty, because this is Argos' policy. I then asked her how should I find if the item is faulty if I'm not opening the package, because that contradicts everything that she just mentioned.. she couldn't give me a logical and reasonable answer...Thank you for reading!

It's a bit of a pain to get into now as they have the car park door no longer in use. You can only enter via commercial Road. However still good for everything you need.

I bought a bike from Argos a 2 days ago, but as it turned out, the front tire was not holding air. So I got in touch with a store to figure out what to do about this situation. Billy, who dealt with this matter was very helpful, he arranged for me to exchange and get delivered a new bike to my home address and all went very smoothly.
