**My Complaint About Argos' Return Policy and Poor Customer Service**
I purchased an Henry Hoover online from Argos, but suction is not work properly. When I tried to return it, they refused because the packaging was opened. How am I supposed to know if it works without opening the box?
The manager, Dannii was extremely rude and unprofessional. She handled the situation with clear impatience and hostility, showing no respect for customers. Someone with such poor attitude shouldn?t be managing a store.
Because of this experience, I?ll never shop at Argos again. I?d rather buy from Amazon, where customer service is actually reasonable.

Very sad to say that the staff were rude and don?t have any sense to detect the defect of the items that I have purchased. No one in Argos Portsmouth care about the customer.

I left my 2022 9th Gen iPad with the store to repair after finding touch screen problems just 3 months in, freezing at times eventually it became unresponsive, it still had a year warranty but I received an email stating that it doesn?t cover the issue (touchscreen not working) after two weeks I went back for the iPad to find out that it?s bent.
when I left the iPad in the store the only issue stated in the email was the touchscreen problem and not the physical condition of the iPad, because it was in perfect shape, I removed the iPad case before taking to the store because they don?t accept devices with case on them. despite everything the staff blamed me and said that it was left on poor physical condition, i didn?t get a refund or a replacement issued to me,
Coming from a person who works in retail I would expect company and staff to take accountability for their mistakes rather than justify the issue and blame it on the customer

Took my phone back after 1 week I bought it in there. They STILL haven't given it back. Called the store over 20 times nobody answers.

Like other reviews, extremely obnoxious staff with an attitude, particularly an elderly lady who was rude and abrupt. A colleague was just as obnoxious and tried to goad me into an argument. Ladies if your miserable as sin in your minimum wage job maybe leave?

I recently purchased a USB from Argos, and it didn?t work at all. When I went back to the store to exchange it, I was met with an extremely rude attitude from one of the staff members, an older lady who clearly has no idea what customer service means. Instead of assisting me with the exchange, she was dismissive and unhelpful, making the entire experience frustrating. I expected better from Argos, but this incident has left a very negative impression. If you?re going to sell faulty products, at least have the decency to treat your customers with respect when they come back for help.

Very slow service, get click and click to be quick but ends up being even longer waiting, never busy in there anymore but takes ages for service. Won't be long before this shuts down

Gracy is so rude ( I asked her name Im not sure if she give the correct one , the girl with pink lashes ), I just been to Argos to change an Item which I got yesterday, magic bullet food processor, I tried once but the product wasn?t faulty but not strong enough, so I decided to change for Ninja more expensive one which cost £130 more to pay ,
She refused me to change because I used once
If you not try you never know ,
She was absolutely rude and unprofessional

Manager was extremely rude. Laughed at me when I tried to explain my situation because 'It wouldn't have been one of her employees'. She needs to inform her staff of the store policy I think, before you can give yourself a Manager title. It seems like the job requirements for that role seem to be rude and to have a big ego. Being a 'Manager' doesn't make you better than anyone else darling.
Will not be ordering from that store again.

It's a bit of a pain to get into now as they have the car park door no longer in use. You can only enter via commercial Road. However still good for everything you need.

Where is your returns or customer services information queue located in this store - store manager there is not any signage available!! Waited for ages in the incorrect queue or without any information or assistance after asking store personnel
