This is the church that gave Petersfield its name. It has stood guard over the town for centuries. It's a pleasant, peaceful place in the middle of town.

Attractive stone built church with a history dating back to the 11th century, situated in a well maintained churchyard close to the centre of Petersfield. Much of the present building dates back to the 1870s. I didn't go inside as there was a music event taking place at the time of my visit, but a quick look through the door revealed a light, open interior with Norman details. There's plenty of on street parking a short walk from the church, unrestricted on Sundays.

A wonderful church at the heart of a beautiful town. The vicar and his staff, along with their parishioners are very welcoming. Every Thursday morning they have a Coffee morning with all visitors welcome. A lovely church.
