Visited Feb'25. Ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, garlic naan's and jeera rice. Gave this a 2-star review as the service was good but unfortunately the food wasn't. Chicken tikka masala - so much food colouring and more of a sweet taste rather than an authentic spice taste. Lamb curry - this wasn't lamb, it was sheep. Lamb is usually tender but this was chewy and hard to breakdown. Jeera rice - rice is rice no real issue there. Naan's - too thick, so doughy almost not cooked.
If you're looking for an authentic Indian restaurant, this is not the one. I choose this restaurant based on the reviews but utimately was disappointed. It's a shame as the service was actually ok but the food really let it down.
i won't be visiting again.

Advertising lunch outside and online. After climbing the steep stairs to the restaurant, the assistant had to check if the kitchen was open. It wasn?t. Timewasters.

Have ordered delivery, picked up takeaway and sat in and this is the solid curry place in the area. Curries taste different to each other (seriously an issue at other places) really lovely staff and so glad to have multiple vegan options with protein in them. Have tried some other local establishments and won?t bother any more, Spice Lounge is the best

Absolutely delicious meal served by Mintoo and Izzy.
The Palak paneer, onion bhajis and the special chicken Mery Poppins (honestly!) were all incredible.
Highly recommend for an enjoyable evening meal in Petersfield.

Outstanding Food !
As someone who used to have Indian food every day, I can say this is one of the best restaurants I've been too.
Amazing service, we asked to move to a bigger table and nothing was roo much trouble. Staff were all very attentive - taking drinks order and asking how the food was. DEFINATLY be back !

Friendly, helpful, speedy service with delicious dishes offered. The tandoori prawn was amazing and came sizzling to the table. The staff were very attentive and made us feel special. The decor with twinkling lights is relaxing and the lights were turned up when we had a photo taken.

Our favourite place for a curry. The menu is extensive, the quality superb and the staff attentive and friendly. Sometimes waiting times are a bit longer than usual but the food is always worth the wait. Value for money is excellent.

Spicelounge never fails to deliver. Quality service and truly great food. Was feeling a little zesty when we popped in and splashed out on the Hyderabadi Shank, I decision I've had to live with since as each meal fails to live up to it. Strong recommend.

Took for absolute ever tonight just kept trying to get us to buy more drinks nearly 45 minutes just to get poppadoms and a pint then added extras to everyone's bills at the end for things we never ordered awful never
