We stayed at Langrish House and received the warmest of welcomes from Val and Nigel. They were both so kind and helpful. The breakfast was a delight, and walking around the grounds was like being in the very best of dreams. Langrish House?s access to the walking paths nearby was a big plus for us.
Rooms: Elegant comfort at its best.
Walkability: Easily accessible footpaths everywhere.

We stayed in Bedroom 19, dual-aspect overlooking the garden and beautiful landscape beyond. It is a majestic setting. A deep valley with old trees and well tended lawns. Birdsong galore. We were made to feel very welcome. Bedroom was a nice size and handsome appearance. It felt like it was family run - which it is - unlike a faceless corporate hotel. It had a personal touch. I would stay here again. We felt very much looked after for anything we needed.

I stayed at Langrish House recently along with some colleagues on a business trip and we were all blown away by the level of friendliness, professionalism and caring from all the staff there. Nigel and Robina were the perfect hosts and could not do enough for us to make our stay the best it could possibly be. Anything you asked was never too much and I asked for allot!
Laura and the house staff were perfect in every way, professional and always greeted you with a smile. We stayed there for five days and by the end it felt like I was leaving the family home and I genuinely miss all of them.
Langrish is a beautiful period house set in a stunning and quiet area surrounded woodlands and nature. With no light pollution of the big cities and owls to keep you company of an evening it is the prefect place to go and unwind or stay while travelling. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants within a five minute drive which offer incredible service and food, what more can you ask for in a place to stay. Once you have experienced this place you will yearn for a reason to return.
Great job team Langrish from team XP ?
See you soon!
Rooms: Rooms were clean, well kept and cosy. A real home from home. The views every morning were beautiful and was the best way to start any day. The bed was extremely comfortable and if it wasn?t for the delicious breakfast served every morning I would never have left it. Simply perfect.

Arguably one of the best stays we've had anywhere! Location, character and history of house, stunning gardens, friendliness of Nigel, Robina and breakfast staff, it was a real tonic. Found on a whim taking a left turn off the beaten track goes to show, it's worth taking a moment from our set path and stop a while to breath, relax and take time out. This was just the place to do just that!
Rooms: Comfortable with view and unspoilt.
Noteworthy details: Beautiful setting and house oozing nostalgic charm, history and character where time stands still.

Lovely house in great surroundings, owners and staff made us feel really welcome, the breakfast was huge, and some nice pub restaurants nearby for evenings. Gets my recommendation.

Nigel is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much and his thoughtfulness is quite fantastic to the weary traveller. Our room was very generous in space and comfortable, parts did need a refresh, but the views are wonderful and open fire in the withdrawing room was a rare treat.I will definitely return for a weekend getaway as a base for exploring more of the area.

Really nice and quiet location. Room was clean and Nigel was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal for dog owners as hotel is dog friendly and plenty of land to walk the dog around, we also found the chickens living out the back. Excellent location for goodwood or goodwood and served as a great stop on our way to the Isle of wight. Breakfast was excellent as well. Thoroughly recommend.Rooms: Clean and tidy with everything you need. This is a no frills and very quiet bed and breakfast in a lovely location.Walkability: Large grounds which were great for walking the dog

Four of us shared rooms in the attic, very clean and comfortable. One person was 6 feet tall and had to avoid the beams but he managed very well. The building is very old, some parts built in 1644, lovely features and furniture. The breakfast was really great, well organised so we got exactly as requested.Nigel the owner was a delight, I wish him many more years in his childhood home.

This lovely historic family home was our base for 3 nights and four of us had a delightful stay. Large rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms, so quiet at night. The grounds are beautiful and the owners clearly love the place and want to share that. Breakfast was good although we would have preferred to have made our choices in the morning rather than having to order the day before. This and the room not being made up each day seemed to be a legacy of covid. There are many good village pubs in the vicinity for evening meals plus restaurants in Petersfield about 3 miles away and it was a good base to explore the Jane Austen House and the Gilbert White House. Portsmouth with its dockyard attractions and ferries to the Isle of Wight is just over 20 miles by train or car.
