I would like to say a huge thank you to Flora for such fantastic service. She was so welcoming and attentive, and made our evening.
The food was delicious, however we found the veal a a little over cooked so we mentioned this to our waitress who promptly offered a replacement dish.
Apart from this, the pasta dishes were delicious and I would highly recommend them, especially the carbonara.

I eat here today with my mother and her friend.
Delightful restaurant. Very attentive service with kindness and understanding for my 86 year old mother.
The food was beautiful, so tasty. The prices were very good. A fabulous meal and we will be back very soon

We had a lovely meal here for my dad's birthday. Our only complaint was that it was absolutely boiling in there, and the air conditioning wasn't on. Lovely food and service was good. Would return.

Visited on a busy Friday and the staff were fantastic! So prompt and polite they showed us straight to our table and our food was out within minutes of ordering.
The restaurant had a calm atmosphere with a beautiful Tudor beam interior.
We both had pizzas, the Caprino and the Toscana which were delicious and a very good size for the price.
For dessert the blackcurrant sorbet and the affogato were high in quality and flavour.
I really enjoyed the night and it is somewhere I would definitely be visiting again!
Vegetarian options: There were quite a few vegetarian options on the menu and infact the pizza I ordered was vegetarian, however it did not effect the quality or quantity of the food.
Dietary restrictions: If you book a table online they have a section which asks about any dietary restrictions or allergies you may have, which felt nice they asked in advance. They also are able to make the pizzas and pastas gluten free on request.
Parking: There are a few town carparks around the high street area which you can pay through the app or card/cash and the prices are very reasonable. These are not too far from the restaurant, about a three minute walk.
There is free street parking however there are a lot of time restrictions and timed zones so I would be cautious about these and double check before leaving your car there.

I go to this little gem every now and then but have never left a review, but I think I shouldn't gatekeep this great restaurant any longer.
The risotto special (mushroom and thinly sliced beef) last night was exceptional and the prawn starter was beautiful and is always a go-to for me.
My friends all enjoyed their meals too and we have a lovely relaxing evening. The staff were attentive but discreet, and we didn't feel rushed at all. The food came out hot and fairly quickly too, which was welcomed by our party as we well all quite hungry!
Book early as I would say you would be lucky to get a table as a walk-in.
My only criticism would be they close fairly early but it would never stop me dining here. I guess this way the staff get home at a more reasonable hour, which is not a bad thing.
Vegetarian options: There is a vegan menu too.

A friendly, lovely restaurant with helpful and efficient service and really delicious, authentic Italian food. The menu is varied and your food comes quickly and is very tasty. Highly recommend!
