Lunchtime Sunday. Didn't have any of the smoothies, orange juice, elderflower juice or Coke we wanted to order from the menu. Had to chase up a missing drink. Food took around 40 minutes to arrive. Initially told us they'd run out of ketchup, but then they found some. Dirty Fries served without the advertised jalapeños, stealthily replaced with ordinary peppers. Food was otherwise adequate. Waiter was pleasant and apologetic. Wish we hadn't bothered. We won't again.

Revolting food we gad to wait 45 minutes for. Order was wrong, was sent back to the kitchen with a backdrop of loud swearing from the ??chef?? for his mistake. Waited for another 15 mins for an undercooked jacket potato, no apology no nothing. Once ready ?chef? loudly announced here is a jacket potato with no butter in a mocking voice? on leaving I was clearly charged for 2 jacket potatoes and the burnt panini but felt the lady behind the counter who did the maths in her head, was too passive aggressive for me to challenge. Safe to say we wont be going back.

Infrequent visitor to Petersfield but have found this cafe to be pretty good in the past. However, on my latest visit it was most disappointing. Coffee wasn't great & served with a puddle in the saucer. Notwithstanding a mid afternoon visit there was a distinct lack of choice of pastries. The many servers seemed to struggle with where the orders were heading. We were offered 2 other drinks & food and at the same time saw our order go to another table. Shame really because it wasn't exceptionally busy.

Probably the worst breakfast I've ever had. The scrambled egg was white and tasteless. The bubble and squeak was wet and soft. Never again

A lovely restaurant in a prime position on the square. The coffee and breakfast were fantastic; the service prompt and friendly.

I went here a few years back and it was great. But no more. I found two huge human hairs in my chilli with no apology or concern for hygiene from the waitress, and was accompanied by the backdrop of staff swearing their heads off. The food was really bad and low quality. Never again.

Great little cafe in the heart of Petersfield. They do full cooked breakfasts, bacon butties, etc. till 11.30 am, then sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, soup, burger, etc. from 12 pm. Usual selection of hot and cold drinks, including milkshakes and even beer and wine! There are about 25 seats inside and similar outside where you can watch the world of Petersfield go by...

We ordered the Vegetarian Breakfast which was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious and the breakfast bap and sausage sandwich which both contained quality ingredients and were cooked fresh to order too. We can?t fault the Chef or staff here as they are always polite and very efficient.

Nice location in the corner of the central square so lots to see. Stopped off on one our walks for a huge bacon sandwich with fresh springy bread and hot mugs of tea. There were 10 of us. The lady quickly brought the tables together for us to sit together. She could not have been more helpful.
