Huge pub and gardens around a lake . Great place for groups.

Came here twice on our recent trip to the area. The food selection is typical pub food, but the quality of the food is way better than your average pub. During one of our visits, we booked as a table of 10 guests, and the service we received was quick and attentive throughout the entire meal.
The outdoor area is beautiful - they have a small pond with some friendly ducks. Plenty of tables to choose from there. Inside, the pub is cozy with plenty of interesting photos on the wall, mostly of wildlife. Don?t forget to take a moment to look at the mill inside the pub.
The Mill House is a beautiful pub definitely a place I would be a regular at if I lived closer.

Food is nice, the building is stunning. The service was really bad. Every time I would go to the bar i would feel ignored, staff would just walk away. Such a shame.

My wife, my mother, and I popped in last Sunday and had a fantastic suprise. Apart from the ambiance, we found the staff and food outstanding. I don't comment often enough for quality. The scotch egg that I took home with me to eat this morning was divine. Thanks for the experience.

A really nice pub comprising a converted mill that is mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The staff are friendly. The food and drink are good.

A scenic beauty and that's before you enter the pub. The mills water runs right through the middle of the establishment and sports some good atmosphere..

Being coeliac I love the choice of gluten free food. The staff are always cheerful, courteous and professional and the interior is full of character and very comfortable. All this lends itself to a delightful dining experience.

No.1 pub in the area just ticks every box for what a pub should be!
Last time I was here the service wasnt as good as it has been and the burger was a bit over done.
