Every summer it's impossible to do shopping at Tesco due to extreme cold inside the store. It's such a feeling like you have walked into the actual freezer. After spending more than 10 minutes inside the store you might even forget what you have come there for as you'll be rushing to get out. None of other stores have such issues. It's just not nice and people are risking to get cold. I feel sorry for the staff. During summer months we choose other local shoping centres.

This is not a review about the quality of the store, it's food, staff members or car park facilities but about the temperature of the store. We visited the store on 17th June 2025 and were hit with an instant icy blast. The temperature outside was 21degrees centragrade but about 8 degrees centragrade instore. To say it was freezing was an understatement, I was expecting to see penguins in there or come across a polar explorer along the aisles. We hurriedly did our weekly shop as it was so cold which made the whole experience unpleasant. Next week we intend to bring our winter coats along and I would suggest everybody does the same.

Got to say Jess at self service is an asset to the company. I was struggling at the till to scan my items hold my purse and 18 month old, while controlling my 4 year old and jess let me mind the kids while she scanned and packed my items. What a fantastic human being. Thank you for helping me at a time when I needed it the most.

Prices have increased but that okay.
I always go here shopping because it has different stuff I can purchase that will benefit my household and is pretty close. I never really interact with staff as I mostly do self-checkouts.There this one staff who is super nice and friendly with a genuine smile and thinks about his customers.
Self check outs can be disappointing as they are always needing to be looked out by a member of staff multiple times for me.

On Saturday night approximately around 19.45 pm I wanted to talk to the manager about giving praise to a lad on self checkouts could see I needed assistance
10/10 well done
Then I went to the kiosk to get my cigars
A young lad showed me them which I was
Grateful I am politey to stop calling me mate
He apologized job done
I asked for manager to say what a great attitude the guy had on self checkouts
So the manager came with the lad which kept calling me mate
I just said thanks you can go
All of the sudden swearing ? at don't tell me..where to go
In all my years of shopping ?
I have never spoken to like that by a member of staff at any store
If Tescos believe that this member of staff is for the future
Well Tescos won't get me back in ever
Worst of all I spent over 100 pounds in the store
Tescos want to remember we as people come in and by goods so staff get paid
I do hope it gets sorted
And makes it worse I am holiday with my family

The garage is absolutely useless, the say they are open 24 hours when they are not. Most of the time they can not open at 6am. The staff walk about looking like zombies. Very badly run

Store is easy to navigate. Lots of choice. Only thing that let's it down is the attitude of the staff on self checkout. 3 of them stood chatting right behind me whilst waiting for them to assist with an over 18 product. Good idea minute passed before one of them abruptly came over not saying hello or any conversation and then went back to their chit chat. One woman on the tills was singing extremely dramatically across the till area which each to their own, enjoy yourself but it did make it look like tesco had employed a few immature crazies who won't interact with customers pleasantly

Wow now what can I say about this Tesco Superstore. I suppose my love for supermarkets started when I was 3 and my mother allowed me 1 tuppence for whatever treats I wanted, I put the tuppence in an ISA at the time and I suppose I should have bought a Tesco bagel or something similar, but we all do things we regret. Nevertheless I fell in love with Tesco that day, the blue uniform and the rows upon rows of produce for the masses, enticed me in.
I go to Tesco around 4 times a day at the moment due to my personal life, but please don't ask me what's wrong, if you actually cared you would have asked already. I often patrol around the shop acting like a spy and I suppose that's why I've had a troubled childhood, I spend too much of my time helping and protecting others.
When walking into this superstore megastore, you're greeted by gates that open up to stop yucky thieves taking free range eggs without paying, and then BOOM, Meal deals. Now of course there isn't unlimited options but it's pretty bleeding close HAHA. I think my review is coming to and end now, my slippers have been warmed on the arga and my dog called Rupert is whining at me to take him to the church, stay safe out there and please remember to shop smart when you can, these are troubling times and we must stick together.

Just a big thank you for the safe deliveries of our food to our home address in Barton on Sea, New Milton, on three occasions because my husband and myself were seriously ill with the flu recently, and we couldn't go shopping. The deliveries were spot on, the deliverymen were polite and friendly and helpful. Very grateful for all your help. Thank you again.

This store has a huge carpark and a petrol station attached.
A very clean Store.
The aisles are wide and it was very well stocked, especially as it was the Saturday before Christmas. Plenty of staff stocking up and all tills were in use.
Clothing, cards, food, drinks, gifts and so much more.
Lots of offers, but you need a club card.
