Had an ongoing problem when my PIN was blocked whilst abroad. Went in to the New Milton branch and was assisted by Faith. Solved the problem in a couple of minutes - great job, thanks Faith!

Put £400 in the outside hole in the wall ..it swallows it but doesn?t add to my account..spits my card out so I go inside to explain and the woman admits the machine has been playing up?So why have it open for business? Then she says there is nothing we can do until the bank closes to sort it.I?m supposed to just take her word that I?m going to be credited with the money later without written confirmation?so it?s their word against mine?.really poor service with attitude?and now they?re doing a refurbishment at our expense for no reason so I can?t even put my cash in for another 2 weeks

Absolutely hopeless! I used their inhouse atm machine which has retained my card. The staff told me are not allowed to open the machine to give me my card back.

Santander New Milton are professional, courteous and helpful. When my son needed to open up a bank account I mentioned that he has autism and found public places noisy and they immediately made an appointment in a quiet room for us which we very much appreciated.

My partner got a letter asking her to attend her local branch, which is over 5 miles away to discuss an account. On arrival she spoke to a very unhelpful staff member who told her to use the internet and they dont do face to face meetings. During this there were other staff eating and laughing in a back office. All in all, appalling customer service, so much so my partner is closing her account and investments
