Great coast location, large restaurant with plenty of tables. Food was really good and the nights entertainment (11 Dec 2025) was excellent (Liam White Music. My nephew ?)

Such an amazing Gluten Free menu and beautiful food! The location is stunning - the lights, atmosphere and outside area, we are already planning a return visit with an overnight stay. Thank you for a wonderful visit X

Been here for few days, decided last night have a nice meal. Mum went and asked young fella if we could take our fur baby in with us, yes we sell dog treats too. Mum came out to car to give the thumbs up. Entered restaurant which was only 1/4 full if that. An older gent came to greated us, asked if we'd booked a table, nope, we've music tonight and will need the table. So off we trotted, won't be getting a penny from me on our future visits to see family

Been here loads of times as live locally but by far this was the worst! Waited 30 minutes before getting served and then I had to go and find someone.
Waitress had an attitude (no names)and didn't bring our drinks for a further 10 minutes.
Not sure if they were under staffed but no excuse.
This was on a Thursday afternoon in the autumn so not exactly rushed of their feet!
Very disappointed on this occasion.

Fantastic location in any weather, particularly good on sunny days for enjoying the sea views. I?ve been going to Pebble Beach for over a decade now, and the food has never disappointed. Thanks to Sam and George for making my family?s visit feel very special yesterday.

This is not a cheap place to visit. However, the food is really really good (unsure how often the change their main menu but there is a daily 2 course special available). Supberb wine list, cocktail menu could be extended a bit, lagers and topshelve. Either pop in and sit in the bar enjoying a drink or book a table, dress-up and enjoy a romantic meal with a loved one. (One of those places where can dress-up and everyone will look as to how stunning you are.)
Events held in an evening including Burns Night.
Accessible loo available and main restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Steps to the bar, terrace and far end of restaurant.
Parking can be a bit tight but free roadside parking available.
Great atmosphere
(sadly no photos - sorry)

I stayed here as a solo traveller, from the moment I parked my car in car park my stay was faultless. The Sun was shining and there was an outside lounge called sunset bar over looking the sea with a DJ playing mellow music. I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly. I was shown to my room of which I was really pleased with. The quality of everything (furniture, fixtures, fittings, linen, towels) was of a very high standard. Also, the room was spotless.
I went for a walk along the beach to watch the sunset and then I ate from the sunset bar menu in the restaurant. My food was excellent, the quality of the ingredients was very good. Again the staff were very professional and friendly. A special mention to Jake who took the time to chat to me, which I really appreciated. I should also mention that the location of Pebble Beach was just perfect, it really was the most delightful and perfect find. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - thank you very much ?

I liked the look of Pebble Beach when searching for a few days away to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and booked 2 nights both with Breakfast and Dinner.\n\nI didn't inform the property that it was our Anniversary as we were not looking for freebies.\n\nWe had some trepidation as so many times Hotels/Restaurants have great social media presence but don't deliver as advertised.\n\nNot so here. \n\nThe cliff top location is dreamy especially as you sip on a cocktail brought to you by a happy staff member. Actually all the staff appear to have a willingness to please all the guests. The terrace is a cool (as in vibe) place on a warm evening and the music is just right with chilled tracks that add to the ambience rather than overtake it.\n\nDinner both nights was very good at a price that is certainly affordable in today's overpriced restaurant market. I had the rump steak both nights it was so good and that on Thursday there was a Steak Night offer...... who can resist an offer when the steak was that good.\n\nWe were served by the wonderful Gilles who really has an eye for detail. Actually there is an eye for detail running through Pebble Beach and those running the place certainly have noticed that the little things count a lot.\n\nThe additions that we appreciated included the quality of the butter, the slices of lemon when ordering a bottle of water and the freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning. Fresh milk in the fridge in the room is something we don't see that often in hotels and is very much welcomed.\n\nThank you Pebble Beach, I am already trying to figure out another occasion to celebrate in order to return.

Disappointing Birthday Surprise at Pebble Beach, Barton\n\nWe?ve been loyal patrons of Pebble Beach over the years, often enjoying its scenic charm for coffees and light lunches. So when we chose it for a special birthday dinner on 23rd August, we expected a memorable evening. Sadly, what was meant to be a joyful celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience.\n\nWe had pre-arranged a specific meal for our daughter, who has an eating disorder?a request that was agreed upon in advance and reconfirmed on arrival. Despite assurances that everything was ?in hand,? it quickly became clear that it wasn?t. The staff seemed unaware of the arrangement, and the service throughout the evening was disjointed and inattentive.\n\nCommunication was a major issue: our waiter struggled with English, and dishes were brought out with no clarity on who had ordered what. Plates were passed awkwardly across guests, and the overall service felt more like a chaotic café than a refined dining experience.\n\nTo add to the disappointment, the wine selection was surprisingly limited. A decent glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was unavailable unless we ordered an entire bottle?something even local pubs manage to offer by the glass. Instead, we were left with a subpar French alternative that didn?t complement the meal.\n\nAs a party of six who appreciate good food and are happy to pay for quality, we were particularly let down by the Chateaubriand for two, ordered by my son at nearly £70. The portion was noticeably smaller than the 10oz steak I had ordered for myself?an unacceptable discrepancy at that price point.\n\nWhile management did reduce our bill by £70 after we voiced our concerns, I would have much preferred to pay full price for a meal that lived up to the restaurant?s reputation. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations.\n\nPebble Beach needs to seriously raise its game in the main restaurant. What should have been a polished, celebratory evening felt more like dining in an overrated café with inflated prices and underwhelming service. A real shame, especially given our past fondness for the venue.\n\n

I booked a table for eight (six adults and two children) to celebrate my husband?s 60th birthday. On arrival, we were all impressed by the beautiful setting?the restaurant looks lovely and the views are stunning.\n\nUnfortunately, the service throughout our visit left much to be desired. After being seated, our drinks order was taken promptly, but it took quite a while to arrive. We placed our food order shortly afterwards, and due to the long wait, we ended up ordering another round of drinks.\n\nThe delay in food service was particularly difficult with two young children (ages 2 and 5) becoming restless. When the food did finally arrive, it was brought out one plate at a time, with the children?s meals served last?which seems quite inappropriate, given their age.\n\nMy daughter, who is coeliac, ordered a gluten-free roast chicken dinner. It was served without the Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. At no point were we informed that gluten-free alternatives for these items were unavailable, resulting in a significantly smaller meal compared to the other roasts.\n\nWhile we were eating, staff were busy moving tables and chairs around the restaurant, which felt quite disruptive. No one checked in to see how our meal was going, and after finishing, we had to ask for our table to be cleared. Throughout our three-hour visit, we were served by at least three or four different members of staff, which added to the sense of disorganisation.\n\nWe ordered three desserts, but only two were brought out. The missing dessert was still added to our bill.\n\nOn a more positive note, the restaurant did make a lovely gesture for my husband?s birthday?a chocolate ?Happy Birthday? message on a plate with a small brownie and ice cream, which my daughter had arranged with them in advance. This thoughtful touch was appreciated.\n\nWhen it came time to settle the bill, I requested the crème brûlée (which was never served) and the service charge to be removed. The staff at the till were understanding, and I explained that we felt neglected throughout the meal. Our table was in a spot that seemed to be out of sight, and overall, it was a very disappointing experience for what was meant to be a special celebration.\n\nIn summary:\n\t?\tThe venue is beautiful.\n\t?\tThe food was okay, but not worth the price.\n\t?\tThe service was extremely poor.\n\nUnfortunately, we will not be returning and would not recommend the restaurant to family or friends.

We visited as a family 6 adults and 6 children from ages 1 to 16. \n\nFirstly, it is worth saying the restaurant and the views are lovely. The staff are also very friendly and attentive.\nWe had to preorder our food as we were a bigger party, which was fine. The food itself was mostly good. The children's meals were well cooked and of a good size. We had a selection of starters and mains. The only issue really was with the scallops to start a very small portiom, luke warm and missing the dressing which would have helped. Other than that, the steak was good and came medium rare as requested. The fishes dishes were all of a good size, and the fish was cooked well.\nSome of us had desserts that were on the whole good, but the Eton Mess, for £9, was poor, a supermarket style meringue, and some cream and a couple of overripe strawberries.\n\nHow to sum up. The food in the main was good, but you are paying a premium for the location and the view, and I think the food is just a little overpriced for what you get.

The food was excellent, we had 4 steaks and sides (which meant we got a couple of bottles of wine on the house as it was Thursday Steak night). The desserts were very tasty and generous portions. The view from our table was stunning overlooking the IOW as the sun went down. However the service was poor, it took us over 30mins from getting a menu to order (the table behind us had the same issue) and every time the waitress came over (to give us the bill or dessert menus etc) she never returned so we had to go and find another staff member after a further 30mins wait. We said something when paying but the young guy didn?t bring the manager over and if I?m honest we had no idea who that was as all the staff seemed quite young. The service ruined what would have been a great meal, thank goodness we had a great view to look at while waiting!
