We stayed for two nights for peppa pig world the food was absolutely amazing so much choice but on the pricey side.. also the drink prices over 3 pounds for a fruit shoot and 13 pounds for a large wine ?!
The rooms were lovely with the best breakfast included , the location is so peaceful and quiet. The rooms were cleaned which was amazing for a short duration. The bed was super comfy too!
I would return but will bring my own fruit shoots and wine haha

As good or better than I remember. Used to come here regularly when growing up here. Always try to visit when I?m back in the country. Steak pie was really tasty and the service was friendly.

What a brilliant find this was! Refreshing to find a really country pub selling great honest food at a very reasonable price. The staff were great and made everybody feel at home even when it was maxed out on a bank holiday Sunday. Roast dinner was spot on ?

Came here in 2021/2022 and the food was great service was quick and staff friendly. However, we returned today and it was the complete opposite. The pub was quiet so our expectations were high. I was not acknowledged or welcomed when i walked in the pub to order food and drink, even though there was plenty of staff around but they weren?t doing much. Blonde woman behind the bar luke warm personality when asking what I?d like. Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains and it all came out at once. Mains were replated when they came back out and not fresh. We sat in the garden and no one came to check if we were ok, customer service non existent which is surprising as it was quiet and lots of staff around. Food was average and very over priced. Lots of cheap condiment sachets. This pub is a beautiful country pub in the heart of the new forest in a beautiful village. However, it was more like a weatherspoons. Will not be returning, massively gone down hill. But could be a gold mine and be the heart of the village. Poor experience

Unfortunately this place is massively over priced. Staff are incredibly friendly and atmosphere is lovely, but we?ve had such long waiting times everytime we?ve come here and the food is average at best. Shame because used to be one of our favourite pubs but just can?t justify the price hikes.

Very helpful and friendly staff.
Been here many times, for drinks, food, roast dinner etc. and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time.
