Should have been a 4 star review but let down by taking 80 to get the food after arriving at the restaurant. However the food was amazing, such a delicious variety of cheeses and meats. We had a sharing board for 6 shared between 7 and there was plenty to go round. Asked for extra crackers and they were very accomodating for one of our party who needed gluten free. Wines were great too

What a place! ? ? ? I couldn?t have asked for a better host than Holly. Quite a culinary experience with the taster flights and grand variety of wines, cheeses and charcuterie. What?s not to love? I?m usually a pub guy, but this place is an exception and really a unique gem ?

In my 38.5 odd years on this earth that might be one of the top 3 culinary experiences I have enjoyed. Wonderful serving staff who feel like they go the extra mile for you. Also knowledgeable but happy to listen and then advise. The perfect balance.
We had 4 wonderful cheeses (paid for one more) of a delicious board that included splendid charcuterie.
We enjoyed the platinum white wine flight and the port flight....

Wife has been to the Lymington restaurant with her friend so wanted to take me, we booked a few days in advance, no parking but that?s normal for Lyndhurst there is a car park across the road that after 6pm is free.
The venue was cramped you had to be careful not to hit people as you are finding your way through, but looks nice ?quirky feel? unfortunately for us we were sat on tall stools at the bar with our back to everyone, after a long week it wasn?t the ideal seating especially as we booked in advance and wanted a bit of romantic vibe we didn?t necessarily get that but hey ho we were looking forward to the food none the less. We chose cheese and meat god knows what as so much going on around I wasn?t fussed as was starving. We ordered wine also which took a while to come as did the food but was nicely presented and once finished we were starting to enjoy ourselves.
We were given the dessert menu, ordered rhubarb crumble and sticky toffee pudding which took soo long to come, was very below bar we couldn?t believe how bad they were they really need to stop offering this as the evening could of ended in a high.
I let the waitress know when she asked how everything was of which we were apologised to, given the bill for around £90 (with the deserts on) and told to write review which I thought odd so here it is

Wow, what a treat! We'd booked in advance & were taken straight to our seat. It was my first time at Renoufs and the service was excellent, all the options were explained in detail including the delicious wine menu. Thank you so much to the brilliant staff.
We look forward to visiting other Renouf locations in the near future.

Stopped off on an impulse early evening and sat at the bar with my husband. We shared a flight of red wine and a charcuterie board. Was fun choosing the meats and cheeses and tasting how the wines went with them. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was quite a squeeze round some of the tables but no one seemed to mind. Great idea for groups, couples, first daters or introducing people to each other as conversation easily flows over the wine and charcuterie combinations and flavours. Fun, will definitely go again.
