Disappointed. i will start with the positives in saying the people were very friendly and the seating outside was very nice with the sun out .Our party ordered only starters which took nearly fifty minutes to arrive followed by the main courses which took about the same time. During that time none of us were offered another drink and the empty glasses remained there until we left after 2 hours. The food itself was very average and overpriced .I was expecting more.

Having researched where best to eat in the area we went for lunch at La Pergola and ordered a pizza and the house special whole sole in capper butter and it was superb. Highly recommend for excellent traditional Italian dishes, very good personal table service and comfort. Unique restaurant. Lovely outdoor seating. Good value for money for great food. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent, food amazing, the only downside was the person we were with said we didn't want pudding and we did want pudding!

Attended a weekday lunch with the family at La Pergola. Absolutely fantastic meal, great service and a really nice place to be. The decor is very Italian themed. If it wasn?t for the English weather outside, it would?ve felt like Italy.

We had a lovely anniversary lunch here. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The food is second to none. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one that wants an 'Italian holiday' themed meal. We can not wait to return!

Delicious food, great staff who are always ready to help. It's a very busy restaurant so book in advance but don't let that put you off. They are very experienced, orders taken and food delivered in a timely fashion. Always staff there to order a drink and it's always brought to you shortly after.
Will definitely recommend.

Great food and the staff are fantastic. Catered to dietary requirements well (vegetarian and gluten intolerance).
The only thing that stops it being 5 stars was how close the tables are together, they've crammed even more in since I last visited. You are practically touching elbows with the tables next to you. Due to this it takes a while to be served and is tough to catch someone's attention. It also got very warm, but the staff were happy to open some windows.
The staff were great though with a friendly and humorous attitude.
Very busy - book in advance, and don't wear a jumper in here!
Dietary restrictions: Catered well for gluten intolerance. Gluten free pasta available (i had spaghetti)
