Unreliable. Closed at 7:25 pm on a Saturday night due to ?staff shortages?. While probably a reasonable excuse for a small business, for a national (worldwide) chain with turnover close to £70 billion last year and 330,000 employees, it?s inexcusable! Clearly management of this store is very poor.

Went to collect the winnings from a scratch card I had bought earlier and was served by a man who clearly had no idea what he was doing and told me the machine was not working so couldn?t give me my winnings. Went back later in the day and was told the scratch card had been paid out, explained what had happened to the lady but was told there was nothing they could do, surely they could have looked for the lottery receipt in the till that confirms it had been paid rather than just shrug their shoulders like I was lying, over £10??.then suggested I go to WHSmith who just told me the same. Rude, incompetent, lazy or just uninterested take your pick

Closing the back entrance and preventing access for the disabled parking spaces is absolutely disgusting. Shame on you! Maybe if you didn't take away the tills at the back you wouldn't have a shoplifting problem! All that achieved anyway was forcing people to queue for ages at the cigarette counter, and probably losing a lot of customers. But as long as you can keep staff costs down and make shareholders happy right?

Expensive only customer service desk and self serve tills at front off shop.. but they may be putting in a till at the front of the store to allow trolleys again..

Taking out all the normal checkouts and forcing people to queue behind people with entire trolley loads of shopping when they just want cigarettes or to post a parcel is insane. Clearly you hate your customers because there's no other logical explanation for doing this. Plus its actually cheaper to shop at Waitrose now?!

No longer a pleasant place to visit. Three tills, which were operated by staff have been closed leaving mainly self service and only two tills with staff, with long queues. I used the self service as a result - a third needed assistance, which meant one of the staff serving had to leave the till. It certainly hasn't improved the shop axing three staffed tills.I wanted to buy vegetables, but the quality was disappointing.

Staff are absolutely shocking and need controlling. Older staff member was extremely creepy by singing a song about my name unsolicited, when bringing my parcels to the front desk for pickup. Keep in mind that I've never met or seen him before. Extremely creepy and no other members of staff pulled him up on it. Absolutely disgraceful. Would leave 0 stars if possible.

Good selection of items. One thing to bear in mind this used to be a Tesco Metro so bigger than standard express size store.

Useful store in the high street. Easily do your weeks shop but be aware prices are higher than large Tesco at New Milton
