Ok I've updated my review after 8 years.. our Spoons is a really friendly place, the food is good and the staff are all awesome. Especially Mark and Ellie, James , Mikey and the others whos names I've forgotten ??????

For a Weatherspoons, this was a good one, quite posh!
Reasonable outside area with shelter. Some big queues for food/drink.
The staff were 1st class, couldn't fault them...well apart from clearing plates/glasses off empty tables, but that was a minor issue.

One of the best Spoons that I have been to. Pleasant, clean interior, friendly staff, a great selection of beers and a beautiful garden to the rear. Just had a beer but the food also looked good.

Best Wetherspoons I've visited to date. Top service, fast friendly and efficient, good food and beautiful location. Lovely to sit outside at the picnic benches. Well done guys! ?
* Just a word about the non-smoking area - It's not very well separated from the smoking area so smoke does tend to drift across. Unfortunately, the kitchen extractors don't help, creating noticeably dirty air just behind the non-smoking tables. Such a shame to come to the New Forest of all places and end up breathing so much smoke. I appreciate it's not really avoidable in the confined area that they have.
