We had a really good lunch here this weekend. The ploughman's lunch was very tasty and good value. Would definitely recommend!

Popped in here today & had the egg & bacon baguette for breakfast at 11.45am. (Breakfast served till 12noon)
WOW, really lovely & fresh.
Fresh baguette, freshly cooked bacon hot off the press & 2 perfectly cooked fried eggs.
The menu for lunch looked lovely & what a beautiful setting overlooking a fruit farm.
The cakes looked great too.
I would highly recommend this pretty little place & can?t wait to return.

I took my mum out for the day and went to the tea barn for afternoon tea. The cakes were delicious only beaten by the best sausage roll either of us have ever had, the views from this delightful place are so relaxing and the staff friendly and welcoming. We will be back very soon.

Rather disappointed with the afternoon teas, 3 very small cake samples, 3 small triangle sandwiches (not even 2 slices of bread) but a lovely scone which probably saved the day and a pot of coffee that just about had one cup in it, so had to keep asking for a refill.
Main meals looked nice and filling so I'd advise sticking to the main menu rather than going for the afternoon tea's.
Staff were nice.

We visit quite often and love the cakes. Today was disappointing, the apple and pear cake would fail a blind taste test, but the worst thing was the service. A dog had jumped up and put it's paws on the counter and the server patted his head. I asked if she would wash her hands before serving me cheesecake, but instead said she would use the serving tongs. That didn't stop her putting her (unwashed) fingers round the top of the drinking glasses where I would have put my mouth....needless to say I didn't use the glasses. I would have complained to the management but there was no one around. I don't usually post online, but this lack of hygiene and courtesy really riled me.

Lovely choice of cakes and drinks. Small but plenty of seating. We only had drinks/teacakes but food looked good. Check daily board for specials.

A cosy little tea room with tasty dishes and generous portions. Well worth a visit you won't be disappointed!

One off the female staff members completely ignored me whilst I was first in the que, no eye contact to even acknowledge my existence whilst i patiently waited until she had made coffee for another customer and then went to the male who was behind me in the que and dealt with his order first. So I stood there with this staff member still ignoring me, until I gave up and left before my husband who was very annoyed erupted. Because your face doesn't fit and your not posh there is no reason for rudeness. Just act posh if you go there then you will be served . Food was lovely though.
