One of the nicest experiences we have ever had in an Indian restaurant. Made very welcome on arrival and service was impecable without being pushy. Food was 1st class, very tasty and very tender lamb. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Cannot understand why more people clearly don?t realise how good the food is. SO much better than the rather more flashy place on the other side of the road where the food is disappointingly bland. The lamb tikka masala is, my husband says, the best he?s ever tasted and my prawn Anari Bakra (really hot and full of flavour) is superb. And the midweek banquet offer is brilliant.

Food is always good here, but the restaurant is generally underrated probably due to it's better known Indian restaurant across the road. I think the food is better at the Shah, smaller and less busy.

Been using this restaurant for 20 years and the food is just great!! Well done to Shah and his family and the team in the kitchen. If you haven't tried The Shah Manzil then give it a go soon. It's a great traditional Indian and Liss is so lucky to have it in the village.
