Thirteen CCC members made their summertime pilgrimage across to East Hampshire to an old Club favourite having booked a couple of weeks in advance. Previously used Covid screening areas, which are still very useful at giving individual tables some privacy, were dismantled in advance to get us all on one long table. We were warmly received by the senior staff as usual. The menu had been updated in February?22, since the previous full club visit and contains an impressive selection of main courses, most of which are bespoke to this venue. The ?Jungli Mas? was particularly popular. The staff spoke with authority responding to Members questions about some of the dishes that they had not seen before. (The sauces of many dishes are available commercially from their sister ?Honey Garden Sauces? business). As is the case with large groups, chatting prior to service, some of the Members had forgotten what they?d ordered. This was no problem for the excellent staff who quickly rectified any issues. It was noticed that a high volume of takeaway collections and outgoing deliveries was noted ? none of this detracted from the activity in the restaurant. You can guarantee a great culinary experience here, and at good value for money. No wonder this restaurant keeps winning awards! - IC

This is an Excellent Indian Restaurant. The food is superb. Every Dish is distinguishable from the next. The Ambience is good & it?s always Busy. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a takeaway to include a Thai Green Chicken Curry which is on their menu and received a chicken curry with Thai green chillies chopped in it !!!! Was disgusting and the chicken was substandard and rubbery . I?ve been going here for 35 years and recently the food has been below standard . Very disappointing. We used to go once a week now it?s once every 3 months !

From my point of view The best Indian Tandoori restaurant I have ever seen.First of all they warmly welcomed us when we reached there. Really such kind a nice service, atmosphere, affordable price as well.Everything is very neat and tidy.All staff are very friendly and smiling face.Hope next time we will go there.

We really enjoyed our time here great atmosphere , very nice welcome upon arrival. Polite amiable staff they were very happy to giving attention to our request about food. The food was delicious and the end we ordered some desserts and coffee which was unbelievable. Can highly recommend.

Madhuban is a fantastic indian restaurant. Madhuban is a neat and clean restaurant . It's food very delicious and service is very fantastic.

Really impressed with the food and service. The decorations of the restaurant is mind blowing. The restaurant does not only produce Indian food but also it reflects the culture of the indian subcontinent. What attracted me most was the wooden statues of various dancing characters with numerous instruments. The waiters are well mannered and they have excellent knowledge about customer preferences. The food was delicious as always. So, from my experience I would love to suggest everyone to visit this restaurant for a wonderful experience.

Whilst the welcome was warm and the decor inviting, I must say on balance this was a poor experience. Had reserved a table - which we were shown to and sat down. Abruptly asked "poppadoms?" To which is the answer is of course yes, but a one word question is pretty jarring. After this we ordered drinks - 2 of us ordered king cobras, to be told they only had 1 left... So we took this and made do. The 1 they brought to the table was 18 months out of date. First Server looked at us like we were mad when we highlighted this and took far more effort that it should to get them to agree to this issue. Replaced with standard beers. Starters - Onion bhaaji was average, calamari was excellent. Mains - Special Korma Mirchwangan - excellent. Chapati was poor. Desert - had the menus put on our table, and then immediately taken off our table and replaced with the bill, without having any opportunity to order. Overall just a real shame, could be a really nice and decent place, but lack of attention to detail and poor service really left a poor impression. Doubt ill be back,

Not a bad meal at all with lamb pasanda, coconut rice and a coke and not too badly priced with good portions but they just can't wait to get you out of the door.

I had 2 curries, samosa's and popadoms with sauce and have to say this is the best curry I've had in years. Well cooked, spicy but not too hot (I had "medium"), not too salty, great flavours. I'm really impressed with this place! Will absolutely be coming back for more.

Service and food was amazing and worth the visit. A wide selection to suit all tastes and you have the choice to spice it up if you want. Recommend the Nihari lamb shank or the tropical balti both went down well. Good selection of wine or beer too. Will definitely be back
