Lovely setting, spacious tables indoors but huge disappointment with the food. We arrived at 6.30pm and already 3 of the main menu options were not available. I had the pork and fennel ravioli.
The portion was tiny for a main , only 5 small ravioli. These contained unpleasant mushy pork and no fennel. I raised this as an issue with the staff who seemed uninterested. We won?t be back.

The Linkes Tavern has a lovely atmosphere especially around Christmas time when the log fire is burning and the decorations are up.
We had a great meal following a wet and cold dog walk and felt very at ease with our dog there. The food was great although we did have to wait a while for it but then it was the weekend and busy! I would highly recommend.

Came for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic. Roast beef and all the trimmings was delicious. Read previous reviews saying portions were small but that?s not the case. Sticky toffee pudding to finish was also great. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place.

Our strollers group, about 15,booked for lunch. My Wife's sea Bream in was reported to be very good and my chilli crab linguine was outstanding. Service was quick and courteous. All drinks went down well.

Avoid over priced small cold portions small selection

Food quality and portions were disappointing. My prawn cocktail starter was maybe a just over tablespoon of prawns and the chicken burger I had was ok but I think I counted about 10 chips. Did have a nice pint of cider but for all of that it was about £35 for something that still left me hungry. Service for our food took ages to come out as well despite not being busy.
The 1 thing that was really nice was the atmosphere and clean airy interior. Tables were nicely spaced apart. Staff were polite despite the slow service..

This is what a fullers pub should be like, absolutely loads of space - both inside, outside-covered and open-air. Friendly, professional staff and a great menu. It's a real asset to Liphook (and one day maybe I'll actually try the golf next door!)
