Great food and service.. staff were great and although busy was served quite quickly.
Good atmosphere on a lovely sunny day in October.

Parking: Parking needs to be input into the hotels system for free parking.

I just wanted to thank the staff at the Royal Anchor for a very pleasant lunch. Freya, Shona, and Brad, were very accommodating and the Food was great, (complements to Kyle the Chef), and served most promptly. This was very good value for money and I plan to return very soon. Martin.

Had a meal there recently with my family. The food was not at it's usual good standard. Added to this, was the fact that I then received a £100 parking fine for using their car park and not registering my car in the pub. I was totally unaware of this procedure .
ROYAL ANCHOR, Please can you make clearer notices about this rip-off money making scheme to your customers.
This could perhaps explain why the pub was practically empty on a Saturday lunchtime.

Parking: Plenty of spaces to park.
