Went for lunch with a family group of 5 and 2 dogs. Superb time, staff wonderful and couldn?t be more welcoming. Great food, thank you and highly recommend.

Went to the wyvern with friends three of us had lasagne but it was basically mi ce with cheese sauce on there was no pasta in the meal at all and we couldn't have garlic bread as they didn't have any
My husband opted for pie which wasn't worth the money safe to say we won't be going back

We had an absolutely terrible early Mother's Day lunch with family. The restaurant was empty but we still waited over an hour for food as the machine which sent the food orders to the kitchen, stopped working temporarily and so our food wasn't prepared. We were offered free desserts which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately when the food arrived it was not great. The burger was very bland, all you could taste was the spicy sauce and the fish and chips were tasteless too. The mixed grill was not too bad. The free desserts were nice but we had to wait ages for these too and all I wanted to do at this point was to leave and never return.

Wen?t for the Steak and Curry night on Wednesday night, 4 of us went and opted for the 2 steaks and 2 curries. Absolutely great meals, steaks cooked to perfection and so tasty! Curries were extremely tasty too. Staff were great, friendly and attentive! We highly recommend the food and pub, definitely give it a go ??

Friday lunchtime. Food too ages and when we did get it it was over cooked and awful. Ordered gammon expecting a nice thick piece of gammon, turned up as two thin slices and like leather. Was looking to take my mum there for mothers day roast, but wouldn't put my Mum through that again. Coffee is instant, paid and then it was forgotten, only needed to boil a kettle. Give it a swerve.

Fantastic staff they are a credit to the business. We visited as a table of three on Saturday early evening.James was incredibly professional he?s a credit to the business the two girls were also fantastic. We ordered two mixed grills and a veg burger. The first full mixed grill got sent back as it was awful the quality and quantity shockingly poor! and also didn?t have any onion rings! but what came out second time around should have been what came out the first time as it was absolutely delicious. Some friendly advice tho my gammon was smothered in pepper which didn?t really bother me as I love pepper but I?d imagine most would not appreciate it! The waitress that knocked up the Banoffee should be in the kitchen, it was absolutely spot on ?? Would we return 100 percent we would it ended up being a really nice experience so thank you.
