Went to On The Water for our anniversary meal last night. Great service, nice touch with the little ?Happy Anniversary? sign on our table! Food was incredible. Fish and chips to die for and the pavlova dessert was one of the best I?ve tasted. Would definitely recommend!

My family went on Saturday to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday. We were a large party and the team at On the water were excellent. Lovely customer service and food and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was such a lovely relaxed evening and all my family commented on how good it all was.

Special birthday afternoon treat for our sisters 60 birthday.
9 people looking to have nice food in a comfortable environment, which is what we got. But customer service was awful, and when we had the audacity to ask for something off of the menu, the service got worse.
when we went to pay, they changed us for a salad that was just lettuce with some mayonnaise stuff on it, which was not what we wanted.
we were not rude, we were assertive trying to get an answer of why we were being charged for a salad that wasn't a salad that got sent back.
we have all worked in hospitality and understand how difficult it can be, but your customer is the main reason you are there.
it was a special birthday for my sister whom ended up crying because she didn't want the fuss and we had just spent just under £300 on a wet Monday afternoon. I have received better treatment and service from McDonald's.
so please if you're thinking of going there don't bother.

Just back from the most incredible meal on Lee seafront. Roast beef and amazing roast potatoes along with more veggies than you can shake a stick at followed by the most delicious white chocolate and pistachio cheesecake with pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted.
If you?re from around the Lee on Solent area I really can?t recommend the Sunday lunches at On The Water highly enough.

Early evening was quiet but service and food excellent. The restaurant looks really cool, with good views of the solent. Very friendly and efficient staff. Clientelle were relaxed and happy.
