We overnighted here ,and had a lovely time. Atmosphere, rooms, meal, hosts & their staff were all great. Lyn was super helpful the next morning organising a taxi to Southampton, ( we got caught up in the rail strike,) so this was much appreciated.Rooms: Very clean, good quality linen, towels, comfortable bed. Plenty of room plus ensuite, queen bed, desk, 2 chairs, wardrobe, tea,coffee facilities.Walkability: Walks locally , places to explore.Food & drinks: Lovely home made meals.

Stayed here as a couple on route to wales what an amazing find. Staff were so helpful attentive and pleasant. Lovely garden which is ideal for those with children as they have an amazing play area. Pretty little Brook in the middle so very relaxing. Room was really nice and comfortable. Had dinner there which was home cooked and really nice so good I even managed 3 courses. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back

Had a family get together , which is a RARE occasion for my dear mothers birthday, and my sisters visit from Australia, so quite a special occasion really. Lynn was a star and looked after us, all meals were enjoyed. The landlord made me feel very unwelcome and tried to make me feel uncomfortable, well, this didnt work, as i was polite to him as im not RUDE, others whom go in regular may suck up to him, not me. I tried to have polite conversation with him. No, not interested. Not me with a problem. My mother was treated like a proper human like the rest of my family were. i must really be a horrible human i guess.

I stayed over here for a night and was extremely pleased with the quality of the rooms and the service. On entering the place, I could tell that it was a very cozy and relaxing place to stay in. The pub - likewise - had a very cozy atmosphere and would evidently be a great place to dine and drink at.Particular call-outs go to Pete and Lynn, who added to the overall experience with their friendly and welcoming service.Would love to stay in this place again if I'm in the area and would highly recommend the same to others. Great place to relax away from the city.

Just having a drive around to find a pub for lunch after shopping in a nearby antiques store to find this little village pub. The service and food excellent. The staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Came out feeling very full. Highly recommend if you?re in the area. We will definitely be back in the future.

A long time since I visited the pub which has changed little over the years. Lovely staff, cosy bars and a fantastic garden and terrace. This visit was with a couple of teams of morris dancers and they coped with us brilliantly. A great night

Service was just lovely, rooms are clean and all you need for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious, but it really was the greeting and service that was perfection, thank you as makes a big difference !

My stay at the Winchfield Inn was not a pleasant experience, apart from the lovely lady (Lynn) that was super friendly and attentive. Being forced to spent two nights here, I can say confidently I wouldn't want to spend another 2 seconds.The hotel is located roughly 3 minute away from a railway station which is the only good thing about this place. The rooms are musty, the beds smell ancient, the ambience is gloomy, dark and scary honestly, you're gonna hate it here. Look for somewhere else, even if you're desperate

The most relaxing room I have stayed in. Quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious. Also highly recommend the food. Amazing home cooked evening meal in the restaurant. Will book whenever I?m in the area. Keep up the good work
