Even though I used to work at this post office, I can honestly say that it?s run by a very knowledgeable team. I still use this post office regularly as I know I get the best service for all my post office needs. And to have such a wonderful gift shop and stationers, it?s just perfect.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced, the woman who works in this post office on a Friday couldn't have had a worse attitude if she tried. I tried posting mulitple 2nd class signed for envelopes this afternoon and the looks she gave me were highly unprofessional and inappropriate, also made me feel like a burden. She was moaning and questioning my envelopes that literally had Christmas cards inside. She was extremely rude and said "urgh this is going to take me ages" then proceeded to roll her eyes as if it wasn't her job... AVOID this post office at all costs unless you want to be verbally mistreated by staff!!!!! She should not be working there if she doesn't want to speak to customers and do her job. Will be complaining to head office to take this further. Disgusting behaviour from staff, so glad I walked out and didn't financially support their business. VILE.

I preface this by saying I like this Post Office and although there is a closer one I always try to use this one when I can. Today though despite saying online and outside that the Post Office was open until 5pm, it had already closed before 4pm. I checked in the coffee shop and they said that because it wasnt busy it had closed. Highly inconvenient and unprofessional.

Charged £1.60 for a first class stamp for a small birthday card when it should only be £1.10. Didn?t realise until I checked after as thought it sounded like a lot. Woman who served me was miserable as sin too.

Popped in yesterday to return some parcels and the woman who works here is easily one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. If you dislike people that much, why would you work in a customer facing position?

The woman that works here is consistently rude, bad tempered, unhelpful and unprofessional. She makes derogatory comments if you have parcels to return and makes the whole experience so uncomfortable. I dread having to go there. Such a shame as the previous people that ran the post office before the refit were wonderful and so welcoming.

Yesterday morning (16-07-22) the Post office employee tried to overcharge me for the envelopes. Started discussion about the price which she didn't bother even to check.

Great service and ample parking outside of accross the road in the playfield car park. Adjoining the post office is a coffee and cake shop and whilst I think expensive it's good quality and gluten free etc options.
Coffee shop which also does vegan lunch.

The food fanstasic. i like the cafe and post office next to each other. the best bit is having a milkshake.located in reading area.
