We had a very pleasant experience here today for a family member's birthday lunch. The lady was super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Everyone enjoyed their food, which was very reasonably priced. Lovely patio and garden area for the children to run around. Thank you!

Fantastic accommodating host and chef. Dealt with my dietary restrictions and went above and beyond which is so refreshing. They were great with the kids and the Sunday Roast and desserts were top notch. The locals were also very friendly. We will be back!

This place is a delight.
The food is delicious and great value.
The staff are really friendly and welcoming.
The seats are comfy, nice music playing at a sensible volume, and they even have screen with the football, albeit with sound so it won't bother anyone. I'm sure they'd turn it up is required.

A friendly welcome at this country pub a few miles outside of Newbury.
Well kept Real Ale on offer as well as what looked like an excellent good value Sunday Roast, shame we were only on drinks this visit

Limited ale selection, however the staff were friendly and engaging. Atmosphere reminded me of the pubs I went to growing up - a proper community pub, with a friendly vibe. If I lived near by, this would likely be my local.
