Did an order for gravel, sand and cement. £4 delivery for 15 bags, by a realy friendly chap who wheelbarrowed it all to the back of the house. Superb!

Great customer service. Unfortunately the item was not in stock in the store but they ordered it to be delivered shame about the delivery cost though.

Avoid at all costs. I?ve never experienced such incompetence in my life.
We bought a new bathroom from Wickes at the start of the year.
The install was stressful, the installer that was assigned to us was useless. The customer service team at Wickes, as well as the team in store have no interest in helping you. They don?t answer the phone, they ignore emails. You have to chase and chase and chase them and they?ll give you a generic answer like ?we?ll look into it?. Once they?ve got your money, they don?t care.
Parts of our delivery didn?t come in time, parts of our delivery came late. The customer service team don?t call you back when they say they will.
The installer installed the toilet incorrectly resulting in water pouring down our living room walls (directly below the bathroom).
He couldn?t install the shower and told us it was a manufacturing fault so we had to call Mira (the manufacturer) for an engineer to come out. This was all on us to arrange, no one at Wickes wanted anything to do with it. The engineer came out and immediately said it had been installed incorrectly. We were without a shower for 3 weeks.
The finishing on the bathroom is bad. He installed skirting board with a gap so big between it and the wall that I could fit my finger in it. I had to ask him to reseal the bath with silicone 3 times, and still there was a gap so I ended up fixing it myself. The list of things goes on. They evidently don?t vet their installers at all.
Since the bathroom has been completed, the cistern has come off the wall (that?s the second time) and the sink has started leaking. Despite the bathroom having a ?2 Year Workmanship Guarantee?, Wickes really show no interest in honouring it. We?ve had to fight to get someone to help us, and it?s still ongoing.
Appalling.

Unfortunately, we have been appalled at every stage of the process and I deeply regret going with Wickes. In short, the design team concentrated on new clients rather than fix issues with their original design leading to weeks of delays. The designer included items on the quote, such as a tap, despite being told we would source our own due to the price. When asked to remove the item, we were told that would not happen because they needed to ensure the installer would install a tap with the bathroom and that we would have to wait til the tap arrived and return it to the store for a refund. When I later returned the tap, the same designer said they would not normally refund the item but after complaining this was done.
The financial agreement was not explained fully before paying the deposit. After paying the deposit, Wickes would not assign an installer until I signed up to a financial agreement ? this made me feel uncomfortable.
An installer agrees to take on the project and turned up to discuss the job. The installer turns up with little idea of the design and without any paperwork. Subsequently, they ask to come back the next day to sign some documents and failed to turn up. This happened twice more and left me waiting around with no apology.
I booked delivery on a specific date. Instead, I am woken up the day before to one part of three deliveries over the course of three days. This felt unprofessional and disorganised.
The installation was due on the Tuesday after the bank holiday weekend but on the Saturday, I receive a text message from the installer saying he can now no longer install the bathroom on the agreed date and promises to call me but never does. I suggest a new date and get no confirmation.
Ultimately I have cancelled the installation by raising a complaint with the customer advisor but since doing so they have ignored three emails asking for an update on my complaint.
