Was sent by my doctors to the pharmacy now as they can deal with certain issues such as giving out antibiotics ect. I had severe tonsillitis and was desperate for antibiotics. The pharmacist turned me down because I didn?t have ?White spots? on my tonsils despite knowing all my other symptoms. I let a further two days pass taking the pharmacist advise, ended up in hospital for 9 hours on a steroid drip with a high heart rate, a painkiller drip and given a 7 day dose of antibiotics, 8 tablets a day I am currently taking! I had infection markers in my blood tests & I was in excruciating pain all becuase you dismissed me!! My tonsils were so swollen, you couldn?t even see my throat. Two days off work I have missed and had to drag my 2 year old to A&E with me for 9 hours. I hope you are ashamed of yourself, I am a grown adult who pays for my prescriptions, you should of just given me the antibiotics I asked for in the first place! I am fuming, you are meant to help people but instead you make peoples lifes harder because you?re useless at your jobs. Maybe it?s important to teach your pharmacist that you don?t need every single symptom to be considered ill and that sometimes grown adults might know what they need? Antibiotics! I am so upset by this whole situation and how much time you made me waste. Especially having to take my baby to hospital with me at 11pm until 7:30am all because you refused to give me medication that I needed. I really hope you feel ashamed of yourselves. Please look at your patients more carefully. I was not just coming in for a sore throat, I had SEVERE tonsillitis that was dismissed. Such poor, poor service. Hope no one else goes through the same.

The staff in this very busy pharmacy do a marvellous job. Service with a smile and I imagine that their work load is massive. I used the new service where the pharmacist can prescribe for specific conditions and got ear drops for my granddaughter. It was such a lot of work on the computer for the pharmacist to do this and it took her away from being able to sort out prescriptions behind the counter. It is a big ask to now expect pharmacists to do this ON TOP of their current work load. I don't think it's really fair to be honest and could push many pharmacists over the edge.A great job today and thank you as my granddaughter's ear already feels better and now she won't be in pain over the weekend.

The pharmacists here are so kind and helpful, and the store layout is really nice. It's a lot bigger and more professional than many other pharmacies I've been to.

Have never used this chemist before. But several family members told me they use it. Got to say extremely friendly staff .while I was waiting for prescription another two staff ask if I was waiting. Polite knowledgeable 5*5

The words pissup and brewery come strongly to mind. Three assistance are required to read and find one prescription.

Tried to arrange collection of a 111 emergency prescription via this pharmacy having being let down by my regular posted prescription via chemist4u, the member of staff I spoke to seemed reluctant to help and advised I'd need to pay £9.35 for a couple of days of my medicine even though I have a valid medical exemption. I then did another 111 referral to David Fogg pharmacy in the village and had no issues, was instantly offered a months supply of my medication at no charge due to having a valid exemption. I will be avoiding this pharmacy in future, it seems disorganised and unprofessional.

How many staff does it take to serve one customer?Apparently, in this pharmacy with 5 staff in attendance, None!I waited, and waited for one of the 5 staff to actually do what they are presumably paid to do, and that is to serve customers, excluding the pharmacist, of course.Indeed, there was one very sour faced woman in a pink/red uniform walking around behind the counter trying her hardest not to serve anyone; and she succeeded. I would add that for sheer effort of avoiding work, she should receive the gold star of shirker of the year.I try, from time to time, to visit this pharmacy to see if there is any inclination to improve on the staff employed, but, alas, it gets worse each time I visit, which is, if I absolutely have to, once a year now at best. The one saving grace was a young member of staff who did eventually serve me and apologised for my having to wait some 10 minutes while all of the behind counter staff tried their best to avoid any contact with the public. If I could give it fewer stars, I would.

Ran in for my brother after the Dr had forwarded a prescription a few minutes before, they were busy in there but still made up his prescription for me straight away, as we weren't able to access the pharmacy again for another few days. All this a few minutes before closing time. This is not my first positive experience with St Luke's Pharmacy.Friendly staff, very helpful and go that extra mile showing they really do care about their clients. Well done guys you rock!!

Absolutely useless and slow service. Staff too busy chatting to deal with customers

Shocking really. Queue out of the door despite 5 staff working. Seem desperate to do anything other than actually serve people their prescriptions. One just sat counting cash out of a till when the entire place was rammed. They need to sort out their priorities - and you should get your medication from elsewhere.

Good service and helpful Pharmacist and team. Can only issue what the Doctor prescribes. ?

I had an E-prescription to collect but the pharmacist refuse to fulfil the prescription as there wasn?t a printed copy of the prescription (they could have also printed it themselves but refused to) these guys don?t seem to live in the 21st century? the staff were very unhelpful and unnecessarily rude.
