The salesperson we first saw was polite and helpful and showed several sofas, providing some useful information for us. He did ask if he could discuss any deals before we left but I mentioned we were still early in research process and that was that.Sadly, after leaving the store, a colleague, which I had not met, ran out to us in the car park and asked if he could tempt us to buy the sofa today and threw some discounted numbers at us, stating to "forget the other rubbish" (pointing to the sofa stores opposite). Very unprofessional and left us feeling like we didnt want to return, even though we did like a product. Every other sofa store nearby felt much more welcoming and less pushy so will shop with them.

the first and last time i ever buy anything from scs. my carpet was ?damaged? so couldn?t all be laid on the day - the fitter went away with my money and didn?t return on the day he said - little to no communication from him or the store. the store said the fitter was too busy, the fitter was telling me he wasn?t well enough to fit the carpet? the store were not interested in my concerns and simply told me he would eventually turn up ? when eventually fitting the carpet, the fitters left the house in a complete state, they couldn?t even flush the toliet!!!

After 14 years my good ole faithful sofa from SCS finally gave up the ghost. So off we went to Hedge end branch of SCS. Nice new store lots of nice beautiful sofas to meet all kinds of budgets. We gave our budget Limit and was shown a nice selection of sofas from all ranges. We fell in love with the comfort of an electric leather recliner in slate grey with USB ports. This sofa is amazing quality and so comfortable and even better it's been ordered and we have 3 years 0%apr payment plan to spread the cost. The salesman was most helpful in discussing our options. Pleased to say it's being made and due for delivery before Christmas yay! ???

Nice range of furniture , but being jumped upon as soon as we walked in the store and followed around the store by a salesman has let them down of a sale , made us feel uncomfotable straight away . Went next door to oak furniture who let you browse offered a drink and was honest about products ....purchased 2 lovely recling sofas in the budget we wanted .

After ordering our carpet at the end of May to having it "supposed" to be fitted on 26th July & having all sorts of issues & the lounge Carpet having arrived damaged. We have finally had this fitted on 8th September! We have had appalling service! From shop to customer services no communication between shop & customer services as these are in Sunderland! If you want a carpet done quickly avoid this company! No customer service care at all! Lie also! & try to con you out of more money!I only wish I could give no stars but won't let me post this review!

Absolutely worst experience ever.The guy was so pushy and started jumping on the sofas to show thay were strong, bad mouthing other retailers. Never again will I step foot in that shop

Great, good helpful staff, that weren't pushy. The sofa set we saw was perfect for us. We went to look at 2 other sofa shops,. But we had fallen in love with the suite in SCS. When we went back to finalise the purchase, the sales lady was great, professional and explained all the options and delivery details. Great service, thanks!

Worst service ever, not only did it take for ever to deliver. But it actually collapsed less than 3 weeks later. And now I have to wait at least a week just for a phone call for them to send someone out and tellme it's damaged. And then probably wait another 6 weeks. They should be shut down. Service is the worst ever. Then you get a generic response, complete what it asks you to do and guess what. It takes 20 days for someone to come add look at it ???, beyond a joke. Customer service, if only there was

Hopefully picked some comfy sofas, good service, just horrified at the delivery charges (which are set and nothing to do with the staff) when buying large items at already inflated prices there should be no need to overcharge on delivery, with the excuse of fuel prices. But this goes across the board with other companies doing the same. 0n the whole ScS seem (at least to us) to have the best range of living furniture. Staff that are ready to help but not hassle as you browse the store.

Sofas were delayed by over 6 months and there is an issue with the frame, we are supposed to have 20 years warranty but been told we beed to pay £75 for an inspection and then after they fix it if they think it's our fault they will charge us. No matter what they will say its our fault won't they ?
