This has everything. Groceries, Home, Clothing, Argos, Petrol Station, ATMCar Cleaning, Specsavers, Recycling etc.
Huge car park, massive variety of products. Everything is clean and new, even the scan as you shop scanners are nicer than any other Sainsbury's I've been in! They even still have hot food to go which seems to have been removed from most stores.

Too many self service tills compared to manned ones, they've rearranged products...again, prices are pretty expensive and are more closely matched to Waitrose & Marks n Spencer than the few products they price match with Aldi. Nectar prices even, are often slightly more than it's possible to purchase same goods elsewhere.

Staff have been great the last 8 years but food quality has gone down.
The last two years meat has increasingly been unable to get near it's used by date, even though stored carefully in a quality fridge.
A day in January the whole shelf of APX 30 Hovis Granary loaves had that days use by date on.
Not prepared to shelf better dates or use more accurate dates on expensive cuts of meat we now travel across the M27 to Tesco's where we've not had the same issues. At £400 a month spend I wonder how many more Hedge End grocery budgets are now being spent across the motorway.

Excellent accessible parking, entrance and layout.
Very low stock or out of stock on most items we needed.
Not enough staff.
Very clean store, lovely friendly, helpful staff when you could find one.

As good as always. Clean, fresh and bright. Everything I needed, mostly Indian groceries and more was available.
Floor staff are very knowledgeable about where things are... saving customer's time. Cashiers are always very polite, happy and calm even on a Sunday like this ( Sunday) afternoon.
Well-done Sainsbury's. Hedge End.

My mum, grandma and I went to Sainsbury's Hedge End today and there was a powercut. It caused the Smartshops to not work and a few other problems out of the staff's control. I just wanted to praise all the staff. It was a challenging situation and they handled it calmly, they went above and beyond to support us and were friendly. We were just wowed by how good the service was. I would like to personally thank all the staff working today for their efforts and excellent customer service. I feel they should be recognised for it :).
