I visit Hedge End Post Office regularly and wanted to give some feedback on members of staff at the post office counter of the Hedge End branch, two of whom I believe are called Donna and Vicky, plus another lady who's name I don't know but she is younger with shoulder length coloured hair. These members of staff really do deserve some recognition and praise. They are always a pleasure to deal with, helpful, informative and just genuinely nice people, unlike the two older ladies who I dread dealing with as they are on occasions just rude. I am sure I am a pain when they are trying to find my endless Vinted parcels...I annoy myself with the amount I get so hats off to them. I have watched the way they help people, particularly the elderley, taking the time to talk to them, listening, never losing patience, they really are an asset to Royal Mail. I really do hope that they are recognised for the great job they do....ten stars from me.x

If you want to go to somewhere where you have to deal with archaic rules enforced by people with an unhelpful attitude, this is the place for you.
A lot of the rules aren't their fault, but the way they speak to people is.

Waited for half an hour to send a parcel back. Only one person serving
The other one sat counting very slowly coins AFTER the person depositing had left the shop. It was painful. By the time I left people were queuing out of the door. More staff needed.

It is a post office. They do post. They do it rather well. Often a thankless job given the increasingly complex nature of the tasks they have to undertake.
To the 0.1% of my fellow customers, on the other hand, if you are queuing, firstly, please don't cough in mine or anyone else's face. Secondly, understand how queues work and that they may take a while. Lastly, be prepared and accept that you are not entitled to special treatment anymore than or above anyone else. The glass is there for a good reason.

Hedge End Post Office staff are brilliant, super efficient and helpful. I use them regularly and wish them all a well deserved couple of days off over Christmas!

Delivery photo taken inside the post office. I have gone to collect it and the parcel cannot be found. One of Royal Mail new drivers have stolen it 2 days before Christmas. Told to wait for a call from the post office which I haven?t received. Poor customer service , unreliable and very unhelpful!

Came in to get our baby?s passport photo which is advertised as a service online. Unfortunately reportedly you can?t in this store. However, one of the staff members behind the desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful when we asked about it. Unexpected behaviour as brief interactions with other staff are members all seemed perfectly pleasant and friendly.
While we appreciate the website may be out of date this woman seemed very angry and defensive as we tried to ask if there was another way we could get his passport done.
Luckily Coronation Parade Hamble Post Office were able to actually carry out the advertised services, going above and beyond, happy to do the photo & passport application despite not having an appointment or on the normal days for their service. Turns out you can just take the photo on a white background (coronation parade literally just lay the baby down on a large white envelope).
Easy fix suggestions:
1. Update your website if you can?t (won?t) do the service
2. Learn to be civil
