Lost 15 minutes trying to print a label using a printer in the shop which was not working. This happened despite triyng to explain to the lovely lady at the desk that I was told by the email sent by Royal Mail that the label can be generated by them after scanning a QR code. 15 minutes later, and waiting twice in que, the lovely lady remembered that she is familiar with the process and the QR code needed should be found at the bottom of the email received from Royal Mail. Not very helpful!!!

Staff are friendly and helpful. And they stick to their opening times (unlike other local branches).

Absolutely shocking service, shockingly good! I love these cats! I'm in there almost every day posting parcels for my little side hustle business and I'm friendly to both the ones at the back working the mailing counter and the ones at the front in the newsagent / shop section, oh, and them upstairs in the bookshop, a nook well worth getting lost in and avalanched under all the old books. At least half of HE is in bed with each other, as it's a small town, and I can't stand that element, from personal experience, but these ones in here I'd say are mostly safe, and they're sound. They probably do know everyone of course, but they're just doing their job, serving customers, meekly beautiful (instead of bleakly dutiful or something). It shows, for that loser permanently residing down there in the reviews, if you make the effort to be friendly and for someone's day to be a little better, a little brighter, or at least go a little more sewer-slide rapidly, it makes everything worthwhile.Queues, yeah sometimes long queues to the door and out down the street and along the saloon town stretch, but it's not a wait so much as it's a rest, a pitstop, and no, my name's not Penelope. They're like one big lovely family, generally. Real people, spinning plates in their brain bistros, keeping it together, catering to secret dysfunctions, and they have been for years, like a family I mean, even the ones who've since reclused themselves to cabins in the alpines or wherever they are now - hiding in the eaves of the Hedge End Library ski chalet. There are a couple of grumpelstiltskins, known to locals and staff alike, but they can't help it, I'm sure they have their reasons, and they're worthy of respect too. I'm constantly titrating between scintillating and dissolving in my own pestilent vessel fluid, so I completely understand. Yeah, love 'em. Beauts! I say to them now, thanks for your service, and for making my days just that bit much sweeter~x

Great friendly service. If you arrive at a busy time then you will queue. Ignore the sheep whinging about social distancing, everyone is wearing masks so what?s the problem, don?t like it go elsewhere

I?ve used this post office for years and never been unhappy or dissatisfied. Yes, it gets busy. Yes, there is a difference in the demeanour of staff. Overall, I am happy to go there and will keep doing so.FYI, the newsagents bit is a separate business so an employee of the post office can?t help you in the newsagents and vice versa.

Great selection of cards, but terrible place to go as a whole! Difficult to move around whilst keeping socially distanced. They fail to recognise that people with buggies and more importantly wheelchairs struggle to move round the shop. The route to the post office during the pandemic involved not being able to get a buggy or wheelchair or rollator through a display shelf caring more about selling more than their customers. I?ve mentioned the appalling layout several times to staff who ignore me or the shop staff blame the post office and the post office blame the shop staff. Today; I struggled to pass a man with my buggy and knocked over several kitchen rolls that were by the tills. I complained to the staff member at the toll and he said ?well you?re only the 2nd customer to complain in about 20 years so it can?t be an issue!? Which made me feel stupid and was so rude. It?s not acceptable. I won?t be returning if I can help it.

I'm a regular at this post office and all the staff know me, they are always friendly and chatty and check in on what I've been up to. They know I also post very fragile items and are careful with my parcels. It can get busy at times but it's a post office so I'm not surprised and even on busy days I've only waited 20mins so they are working quickly and efficiently.

I'm shocked at the employees you have working for you and as to how anyone could possibly pick up or post a parcel through this place. I went in today to pick up a package and upon arrival it seemed no one knew what they were doing. I had the email and tracking order to hand for said parcel and proceeded to show the lady, she then told me that the number on the email was wrong and wasn't in fact the tracking number which I thought was odd as it was the exact number I have been using to track said package for three days. After explaining this to the lady (honestly felt I should be getting paid as I seemed to know more that this crazy woman) that it WAS in fact the tracking number she continued to argue with me as she didn't think it was, I guess upon hearing this a younger and frankly more competent lady came and explain that what I was saying was in fact right and the number on the email which did in fact also state was the tracking number was in fact the tracking number! She didn't seem in the best of moods as it was bit after learning she was in fact wrong she was definitely in a bad mood. She proceeded to get my parcel much to her disgust and slammed down on the counter (luckily was nothing breakable). Her attitude was appealing and her pure arrogance and mood towards the situation was completely disgusting. Honestly I'm more upset for the younger lady having to work along side that miserable and completely rude dragon of a woman. My advice is steer clear of the post office (if you can even call it that) because you may well in fact be doing there own job for them and not remotely getting anything for it bar a terrible attitude and a headache for which caused by trying to understand why anyone would hire some so stupid. â???

'I'm losing the will to live.' This was the attitude I received from a 60 year old employee who thinks she has the hardest job in the world because Parcel Force didn't send an email.
