I purchased a set of sofas from this store, but one of them was delivered with a visible scratch or tear. I promptly reported the issue and was advised to call a designated number. However, each time I call, either no one answers, or when someone eventually does, they claim my line is crackling?even though I can hear them clearly. The pattern is suspicious and raises serious concerns about this company?s customer service practices.

Extremely Disappointing Delivery Experience and Unfair Charges
I recently ordered a sofa and had an extremely poor experience with the delivery and customer service. The delivery driver refused to even attempt bringing the sofa through the front door, claiming it wouldn't fit without trying. I suggested using the window, and after calling customer service, he was told to simply leave the boxed sofa outside and leave?no help offered.
I then asked the driver to take the item back. Shockingly, I was later informed I would be charged £150 for the return and lose the £99 delivery fee?£250 lost on a £2000 order, despite no real delivery attempt being made.
I spoke to three customer service reps who all gave the same scripted response and referred to unclear, user-unfriendly terms and conditions that were never properly explained at the time of purchase. I visited the Hedge End, Southampton showroom and was told they only handle sales and couldn?t help.
The whole experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and costly. I'm now being forced to either buy something else I don?t want or lose £250. Absolutely unacceptable.

Average quality furniture made in countries with cheap labour then sold at inflated prices in the UK.
I made an order for a set of tables, waited 2 months, turned out they were made in Vietnam. The quality wasn't good and there were multiple defects. The set was replaced with a different one which wasn't much better. The tabletop was super thin and made of a thin wooden sheet rather than a solid thick oak wood. Personally, I won't be buying from this company again.
Be careful. Do not make them fool you.

We bought a sofa foot stools and swivel chair and are really happy with the purchase. The customer service from Sam was outstanding he was very patient with us coming and back and forth and being indecisive with no pressure or hard sell. Highly recommend

Do NOT purchase anything from here. Once they have your money they literally don?t care about the customer service they provide you. They take no responsibility whatsoever for issues/faults with the products they sell despite it obviously being an issue from their products NOT the customer! Avoid at all costs.

Pretty pricey, especially if you only want to buy chairs without a table - almost double the price. £50 delivery fee, but they will only deliver to the door. They do not bring items inside. Their competitors down the road charge the same for delivery, but they put items in the designated room, and assemble any flat pack items for you. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is why I give Oak Furnitureland three stars.

My mums drawer underneath her wardrobe that she had from you for years has now broken. They should last alot longer longer 4plus years . Handles are not fit to standard. Ikea has some lovely furniture ? go there instead . Avoid this company at all cost!!!!!

Rude and very ignorant staff take your money and don?t care .purchased a new bed and arranged for collection of the new bed .i was told it would be ready to collect in wharehouse. I arrived to collect my new bed on the day arranged I was greeted straightaway by three shop assistants I advised that I had com to collect my bed and was told it was upstairs I explained that I was told it would be in the Wharehouse ready for me and asked the sales man if he could help me down with it he quickly said no I can?t I asked him are you joking or what he said no I?m not helping. After a bit if time the sales lady walked upstairs to where the bed was I asked her why can?t you help me she said there not insured to move stuff up and down . What a joke I said I?m not insured either I decided to move it down to our van with my driver as we did this the staff were laughing at us .I found this rude and unprofessional I will never use this shop again rude arrogant stall who need a lesson in customer service .i wish I used a small independent like Bradbears like I have in in the past they looked after me

Great store, but went to purchase a sideboard and nest of tables which was absolutely fine but have a 15 week wait for delivery. But I guess if you want it you have to wait.

We recently bought some dining room furniture. The staff in store were professional and informative and we are pleased with our choice. However, one of the items delivered was damaged. We phoned the head office to arrange to have it returned and replaced. Oh dear!!! We were informed we would have to pay for collection and they were only replacing item as a gesture of good will as they couldn't prove where and when the damage was caused. The shipping company then sent photos of the replacement item and the packaging was wet and clearly damaged again. We again informed the customer services who told us we could not have it and they would replace it again but it would be the last time as they would not keep replacing damaged items. We went back and forth many many times with both Oak Furniture Land and the shipping company with none taking responsibility and blaming each other. We spoke to a manager who then informed us we have to pay shipping costs as it is in the small print which we should have read and because we used a third party shipping company (which they recommended as we live on the Isle of Wight) At one point I became so frustrated and upset I almost cancelled the whole order to which the manger said "OK" (valued at over £3000.00) We were also told we should have travelled over to Southampton and inspected the goods ourselves when they came from their distributor before they were shipped by the other distributors.(all at out our cost) At no point was he rude but to say he was completely unhelpful is an understatement. Clearly speaking from a script. Considering none of this was our fault (of which they agreed) I am absolutely appalled at the service and attitude of customer services and I will never use this company again or recommend them, simply due to the shocking attitude towards customers.

We have purchased the majority of our furniture from Oak Furniture land. The guys in the store are great to deal with. The after sales team over the phone have been amazing at sorting out any small issues. Great quality and service from the company.

Failed at the first hurdle, took delivery today, but told that the table wasn't on the van, so we have a dining full of chairs, but no table and no explanation as to why this has happened. Spoke to customer service and they told me to call back at 10:15 due to "stock allocation", how is that my problem? Just send me the table I paid £600 for as soon as possible.
